Back to Langstone Harbour again yesterday evening to capture the sunset, clouds looked promising and some decent colour in the sky but sadly a north west wind was creating too much movement in the water for any reflections, still it was good to get out with the Nikon again!
1/10th second exposure using a Lee 0.9 ND grad filter.

Getting ready for Sunday's total Lunar Eclipse and making sure my setup is working. Looks good!
This is a 100% crop from my K-5IIs using the old 400mm 6x7 Takumar. Sharpened a bit to reveal details.
Usually I don't post RL photos here, but -- oh, Winter! Even it is technically November. I love Winter, snow and frosty air. Today the snow has melted everywhere on the sidewalks. But here, in front of a school, it is almost intact.
Lunar Eclipse tonight, with guest appearances by Saturn (blue top right) and Regulus, (bright star on left). It was gorgeous to see, and my pix don't do it justice. But, I just popped this off in the backyard to record the event for myself, and I'm sure folks with telescopes or longer lenses got a nicer shot...can't wait to see some. How beautiful our lovely moon is.
Sissi enjoy the company just besides me in the upstairs couch.
She has settled nicely in our home and she is extremely cuddly and active.

The only editing here was cropping and adding the text. Unfortunately, the actual colors of the sunset were far more intense, but my iPhone refused to pick them up. And in case you’re curious, the text is covering up a flaw in the photo...long story.

Venice, Piazza San Marco
Arrived after a 4 hour train ride and almost got robbed at the train station in Rome by a group of four angry Italian women inside the train. They were ushered to the exit by the security man while i make my way to our seats.As I almost walked passed them, not understanding why all the shouting is for lool until one of the nice young Italian lady gently grabbed my hand and told me to sit next to her... she whispered.. thieves...grab hold of your handbag and make sure everything is there.. it took me few minutes to digest this info..i froze and sat still .. the security man pushed them off the train..my husband was back there buying refreshments not knowing the situation until i told him. Thank god nothing was stolen =P
the security man just instructed us to keep an eye on our luggage on every stop. we did as instructed and nothing stolen =P
P.s wanted to show a short video of the views taken from the train and another one when we first arrived Venice, however, non seemed to work. =*

I was having a little rest when suddenly the sky coloured up, so I shot off to get my camera and belted outside with my trusty dog (!) and just caught the tail end of a spectacular sunset sky!
Sadly it's difficult to get away from contrails here, what with Stanstead being not too far away and RAF Wattisham very much closer! Still it's something else to capture the sun's rays as she goes down for the night eh?
