The last two days have been rainy and dreary but it cleared suddenly tonight and this is what I saw.

More of those wild horses I was lucky to find last June. I'm going to stick my neck out here and make like I know horses, which I don't. I think it's a Bay on the left, and Buckskin on the right. I believe the activity is something like the Bay is saying, "Not tonight, Buckwheat." Feel free to correct me. Check them out "large" too. Love that Sony A1.

A view west over Hawker. First try at star trails, a bit of a learning experience. I need to shoot longer, get a better way to hold the shutter down, make sure the tripod foot doesn't slip. I did some other experiments to try something else later on, but this was my first go, so kept it simple.

Some very unusual clouds surrounding tonights sunset !!

I used to be able to grab lightning shots like I was grabbing a beer. Now it's like work and I don't end up with much to show. Waiting for that perfect storm to come along this year.

Although I felt a little vulnerable by this approaching storm, it was still exciting to see. With this crazy weather we're having, I should be able to get some better ones. The brighter bottom is the city lights of Braidwood to the south.
