It's still looking like a pigs breakfast, but I'm not worried because I feel it has direction. Pleased with the emergence of the lotus flower to date.
tissue paper frog. I was separating some tissue paper and I thought I would take some picture of the piles. Well heres one of those pictures
Color-photocopy on tracing paper over collage of black and white vintage ephemera. Approx 3 x 3 inches.
It took me about 100 sheets of tissue paper and 13 or 14 hours in a fishbowl like window...but It's done!

This seemed ingenious until my husband starting leaning step stools on them and actually placing things on top of the stacks. I know. What on earth. It's tissue paper, dude. It smooshes.
These are some of the stickers I have that are Holiday or Seasonally themed. Some I happened to get off clearance at Michaels, others were regular price, and some I got from Walmart for $1 a pack.
I forgot favors so when we stopped at the grocery store I grabbed these dulce de leche suckers and wrapped some ribbon around them.

Some random shots this w/end. Using the lighting techniques I've been studying in studio, I've applied it to outside shots as well.
Anyway, I just loved the colour and the way the light light up this lantern hanging under our tree.

This paperdoll was created for a Themed Swap called ' July Wedding ... I thought I would try some paper, vellum and tissuepaper. Hope Norma C. in Vancouver, B.C. likes it ..It's hers.
talk about delayed gratification...
my copy of aline smithson's 'self & others' arrived in september last year, but i was expecting to move soon after, so decided not to open it, but keep it boxed to protect it.
life was a bit unpredictable, and in the end i only moved at the start of this month, almost 8 months later.
so today i finally opened the package and unwrapped my copy of the book, and it is just delicious to look at! such perfect colours!
I mean really, who doesn't?
This picture was taken right before he became a choclate-y mess and freaked out on a sugar rush for about 22 hours.

Made a light tent using a couple of cardboard boxes, some tissue paper, two pieces of white poster board and some tape. Cost less than $5 - flashes not included!

My wife and I were in New Market Maryland for a family get together. I spent some time outside taking pictures. The table decorations were handmade flowers made of coffee filters and tissue paper.
"L" Baby! Love this 40D with the 70-200mm L lens. It helps to have a good model too. :)
Oh yeah, and I hate tags in Lightroom! I always forget to change them when importing and then they become part of the pic EXIF data. This shot has nothing to do with "color" or "tissue paper"! Damn!

Handmade tissue paper pompoms made into napkin rings or favor box toppers. You choose the color and amount you need
I made about 60 of these tissue paper flowers for the girls on my floor and half the girls on another floor. They took forever, but ended up looking awesome!
