My new weapon of choice for video - The Nikon D5100.
Picked up this little guy as a companion to my D90 today at Black's Camera (My third Nikon). Despite the cheap plastic feel and lack of controls compared to the D90, this camera really shines when it comes to video. Took a few test video clips at 1080p at 30 fps with my Nikkor 50mm F1.8 and I was really impressed by the sharpness and quality.
I'll definitely be taking this little guy to Cannes and Paris next month instead of my D90. Woot woot! I'll be sure to post some video samples soon.

Mack's Flax multigrain bread, Havarti cheese, Soy butter, Ketchup, Romaine Lettuce and peanut butter with a side of Miss Vickie's original chips and a cup of Soy milk. This is good living.

Ting Wu (designer, Creative Academy) Gone with The Wind Room fragrance diffuser in wood Made by craftsman Luigi Cermenati
The form is clearly inspired by Jules Verne’s hot air balloon, but the delicacy and elegance of the design conjure up the world of Van Cleef & Arpels. The fragrance also creates a gently poetic atmosphere that induces a dreamy calm.

Blonde Redhead @ The Commodore, Vancouver, Canada.
One of the best shows I've seen so far in Van. They put on a wickedly good show despite getting interrupted by a security guy that demanded I check in my DSLR since I didn't have a media pass. He actually escorted me to the coat check and made sure my camera was indeed put away. I was bummed but I was determined to get shots of the band regardless so I went back to coat check and snuck it out underneath my jacket. So here's my "fuck you security guy at the Commodore" -- I've got my shots suckah. ;)
