Exhaust on cylinder 1. It relies on knowing what camshaft is in the engine, but I'll upload a table soon. The crankshaft is set at the Full Lift position, but this is easy to calculate, and the flywheel teeth are a pretty good degree wheel.
I am still working on my inflight/action shots. This is what happened to a lot of the 100s of pictures I took! Deleted more than half! I was just trying to zoom out to get Queenie's head in the picture when this Mallard duck decided to take flight! : (
With the water pump and crank pulley removed it's just a matter of removing some bolts to get the timing cover off.
Looks real nice and clean.

This was in a public washroom in Shanghai. As soon as you turned the lock the clock outside the stall started ticking, showing everyone how long you were taking. The Chinese characters before the time are 'you ren' which means 'has person'. The unoccupied stall has the characters 'wu ren' over it, which means 'no person'.
The first weekend of July we found ourselves back in Shanghai.
Was driving around with my girlfriend when she pointed out the sunset off in the distance. I wasn't able to see it at first but when I did my jaw dropped. We were right by a golf course so I pulled my car over, got out, hopped a fence and was able to take this shot.
At the time, I was frustrated that I couldn't get these power lines out of the way, but now I'm glad that the tower is in there. It gives the sky some sort of depth or contrast, I'm not sure which.
Literally less than two minutes after I snapped this pic, the lighting changed and the clouds turned from this bright orange to their normal darkish gray. So glad I was able to capture this at just the right time. Gotta love sunsets!
A 30sec exposure on Ilford Pan F 120film, with my wide angle pinhole camera.Developed in Ilfosol. We were waiting for a cup of coffee in our favourite coffee shop, and I was bored, so I shot myself timing the shot.
