This was really an accidental 365, an emergency involved me going home. Another issue I had was my USB lead must have got left at the other Uni campus after day 18. So I offer this for the Gods of 365 today. The pocket timetable is a wondrous invention. It allows me to navigate the oft repaired North Lincs Main line with aplomb. Handy indeed.

Rocester
JCB HQ
Circular walk from Uttoxeter via Rocester where JCB have their HQ. Better walk than i’d anticipated from the photos I’d seen on Geograph. Pint At Kings Head in Rocester. Actually spoke to 8 people today usually its out and meet no one and take photos. Lady possibly auzzie at Derby station asking about getting to Leeds helped her and gave her timetable I’d just got. Professional photographer with a great camera in the fields near Rocester. Two guys who wanted to know the name of a flower no chance i haven’t a clue. Barmaid about the ladies darts team she’d been roped into. Made it back to Station at 18.53 for the 18.58 train to Derby, sunset was at 19.05 so perfect timing.
Decided to walk to bus station as train was a bit of a wait and noticed lot of people hanging around Derby, so followed crowds, instead of getting bus found Derby Feste on Bass recreation ground lots of light and fire things going on as it was 19.30ish and dark. So hung around a bit taking photos and asking what was going on as i hadn’t seen any ads for this

Calrailfans Palisade Campout pt. 2, Friday afternoon, 21 June 2019
More photos from our Palisade, Nevada campout, with photos taken in the former town of Palisade, where we camped, as well as a bit north (by compass, east by timetable) in Palisade Canyon.
We had a good variety of Union Pacific trains, with manifests, stack trains a local or two, grain trains and coal trains. Much of the day was cloudy, which made for flat light when the sun was high.
The Humboldt River was considerably higher than it had been in August of last year, when we camped here.
