Timelapse of ISS under the big dipper. June 2 2020 04:59:35-05:02:16 UTC. Canon G7 X, 120 x 1/2s, ISO 800. Composite flic.kr/p/2j8kGnM
I went out last night to shoot some star trails over our village church in North Oxfordshire. The moonlight was illuminating the entire back of the church and it looked absolutely gorgeous on camera.
I used a Canon 1100D with Canon 10-18mm wide angled lens. The camera tripod was very low to the ground, partly because it was very windy, but also because I love the effect you get when the camera is low down.
Each image was ISO-800 for 30 seconds at f/4.5.
I first created a timelapse using just the images I shot because I love how the shadows are moving on the church as the Moon got higher.
Then I stacked the images using StarStaX, and saved the cumulative files so I could then create a star trails timelapse - that is the second half of the video. The final frame is my processed star trails image with aircraft trails cloned out.
I was hoping to get a full hour on this but my battery died after 45 minutes. However, I still love the final result, even though the video is quite short!
The videos were created using PIPP and Movie Maker.

I had a very solitary feeling kind of night last night, so I headed over to golden gardens and froze my toes off for a few hours. I wish I'd had two cameras -- the kids next to me were having lots of fun lighting paper lanterns and pouring alcohol on their fire and it all looked pretty. I caught the lanterns in a couple frames, but it just looks like a shooting star.

Video a 720p y 24fps
A timelapse of the view from Villa Melisi in Vasiliki on the Greek island of Lefkada. Taken August 2014.
UPDATE: Modified it slightly from when i first built it, attached the IR LED to a short length of cable to make it easier to point at the IR receiver on the camera and entered the cable through the old battery compartment.
While looking around on how to build an intervalometer for my D60, I came across this forum message. forum.timescapes.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=335. Full credit to comedyhunter for the idea and great instructions!
Picked up the timer remote from ebay, pulled apart the knock off ML-L3 I had around and wired them together. I also wired the power supply from the timer into the IR remote, so now I don't need the CR2032 in the IR remote.

This time, as mentioned before, I made a timelapse out of 999 photos, actually it's only 951, because a fly sad down on my grad filter. This is 60fps fast, so it's much more interesting, I think.
Nevertheless enjoy.

Thought I would try and do a timelapse movie with my GoPro so no better opportunity than a drive to work (inspired by rtadlock)... 12 minutes (ish) of driving condensed down to 32 seconds (pic's were taken every two seconds)
I've not really got a clue of the best settings etc. so if anyone has any advice please feel free to leave comments.

There are two things I would like to point out in the video, the first is the rainbow, and the second is the sunlight and shadows on the hillsides in the background.
