A timelapse of the view from the 155 cocktail bar in Vasiliki on the Greek island of Lefkada. Taken August 2014.
2149 photos taken between 9:30 am and 1:41 pm with a Canon EOS 40D through a Sigma 8mm fisheye lens. The camera was triggered by an intervalometer I made with a 555 timer chip and an optoisolator.
The resulting pictures were batch rotated and cropped using imagemagick and then made into a video at 25fps using ffmpeg.

Shot in their parking lot over the span of a few hours in the afternoon one day.
I discovered a new firmware for my camera just before christmas called' magic lantern' and one thing that got me excited was the inbuilt intervalometer. I'd always wanted to try timelapse but I never got around to buying a timer remote. So I finally head out to the back roads of Hayle and look around for a place to set up. I used a nd9 soft grad at 1 shot/30 seconds for 30 minutes. I filled the time watching Big Bang Theory and then a farmer pulled up and we put the world to rights inbetween talking about photography.
This is the snowfall in our yard. I started the timelapse at around 7:30 am and finished off around 5:30 pm (because my battery died) It is shot at 1 shot per minute.
*Flickr compression really did a number on the video clarity :(
Timelapse, People are moving in Front of the Papal Palace in Avignon
When I was in Avignon in Front of the Papal Palace I had to wait a few minutes. So I set up the camera and did a short Timelapse.
Timelapse because clouds came and intruded on my startrails. It was really fun, though a little cold. Ignore the small wobble there as I readjusted my setup ^.^"

415 stills, 1 every 15secs, compressed to approx 30 frames per second. This is my very first timelapse, I've always been fascinated by the process and have now learnt how to do it, free, and simple in Windows Movie Maker. The original is excelent quality, not sure how flickr will upload it!!!
