Since my D80 doesn't do timelapse I tethered it to my MacBook Pro and used an automator workflow to shoot the sunset. I only wish I would have set it for more than 45 minutes. The sky just exploded after the sun went down below the horizon.

A short timelapse of the suburbs around the golf course in Bath. I wish I made it a little longer, but I didn't have my remote and was simply pressing the shutter button for every shot. Needles to say I got bored pretty quick. Watch at 720p full screen! www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTtnNR-u9LI

Timelapse SAAB 9-3 Aero 2010 & GoPro Hero 3+ BVlackEdition

Skies over Pearland, TX one September. It was a very windy day, so the view is not very steady.

Timelapse First Attempt

Music: Jake Shimabukuro - Heartbeat

Shot with Approx 1200 Stills on Sony A850

Timelapse taken at Utsukushigahakogen, Nagano.

I'm learning how to do astrophotography and night timelapses, here's a frame from one of my timelapse sequences.

Munich - 17.06.2013 - 22:05

Some quick timelapse tests.

First timelapse I tried with the Nikon D7100, much improved after learning more about how video works!

D7100, on tripod

Interval photography active

1 phone every 30 seconds

in software turned into video series

still duration 4 frames

converted to mp4 video

Next time will try manual focus and white balance, that should help with flickering effect, and also take more photos at faster interval to capture more detail.

An experimental video for my time lapse project. Video taken in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong on 16/8/11.

1 frame every 40 seconds.

With thanks to Harry Weinstein MD.

I'm a newbie in timelapse, this is my 2nd test, the second I show to anybody. See the great work of Ben Canales www.flickr.com/photos/bencanales/

and you'll know what I'm looking for. Please tell me what you think, folks.

Made from my window, jet planes crossing by, and dogs barking. Mistakes: filters on (never more!), banding (bad resolution), Auto WB on, and no soundtrack yet, sorry. Next time, maybe!

Nikon D5000, AI Nikkor 28mm f/2.8

Bought an intervalometer for my eos 50d, and this is my first experiment with it. Looks like there's a lot of fine tuning to work on for future projects :-) But timelapse is fun!

stopmotion timelapse of a rose dying over 5 days. The biggest challenge of this was definitely the length of time it was shot over. I wasn't able to have a space where I could just leave lights and a camera set up, so I just tried to mark the spots where they were positioned. As I shot this indoors I was able to keep the lighting pretty much the same for every shot, but the camera settings/angle does jump around a little, though with a bit of cropping/editing I managed to minimise it a bit. I ended up quite liking this and it came out better than I had hoped for- though like the sunset timelapse I think it would've benefited from twice as many shots, though I kind of like the jumpy stopmotion feel.

This is an experiment.

I was trying to combine multiple images into one from left to right. This image combines 13 images as the sun was setting in Sudbury, Ontario.

I like the way it turned out, and I have some ideas for my next attempt at one of these. :) Best viewed large.

At the end you can see a reflection of the macbook screen border in the window.

Decided on a timelapse that shows my path from uni to home.

The main struggles I found in this was taking photos without getting in peoples faces, especially down Lambton Quay when it was real busy. Audio credit: Blank Space instrumental, Taylor Swift - www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrRe-L6v_To

30 second timelapse of my hometown Kristiansand, Norway

Amaryllis blossom openening over 8 hours

Over the past 2 years I've had a time-lapse weather camera out my window. I've posted a few other videos in the past. I always enjoy seeing clouds sped up. They billow and move in ways you don't often perceive with your eye. This was taken May 23, 2011 and covers a period from about 7am to 8:30pm. You can catch quick glimpses of the men who are reroofing our house.

bought myself an intervalometer :) though I'm still working out the settings on my camera to get it right, but anyway, here's a first attempt at a timelapse using my 600d

edit - and apparently I'm still working out the settings to edit videos.... as my first upload attempt on this video failed a bit.... (if at first you don't succeed.......)

thanks to those who Favorited the last one, hopefully this ones better....er....

Irgendwie interessant!
