Yet another timelapse video, this one a somewhat unconventional sunset - no pretty oranges here. 3 hours and 28 minutes in 455 frames at 24 fps, 1/1244 exposure, 8.0 aperture, 80 ISO. Frames not post-processed. Taken with CHDK firmware.

Using the OSnap App I set my iPhone take a photo every 10 minutes for about 10 hours (though it did crash *a lot*).
It's a little experiment to try and travel as far away as possible from the decisive moment and remove as many decisions from the photographer as possible.
I carried the phone about whilst in transit and place it near me when in one place. The positioning of the camera is the only choice that was made and I tried to pay this little attention to this as possible.
All the photos are here, unedited.

#30 Take a photograph that is strong and necessary of something which is not photogenic.

P.D. Todas las criticas constructivas serán bien recibidas.
Salud.
Today I decided to shoot some timelapse from Cottonwood Canyon back through Summerlin on Hwy 159. Shooting the Ace Pro on a suction cup on my Jeep hood.
It cut off some entrance and exit transitions... ah well.

Inspired by Keaton's new vids.
Working on concepting a video for our band's May full length release and I wanted to get this skill under my belt. Plus it is just super fun.
Next step better focus and more seamless feel.

I have never landed in fog like that. I've flown in storms, clouds and turbulence, but nothing was as freaky as the time in the fog.
Contains three timelapses:
1) H1 to Main gate
2) Main gate to yellow chillies, HN
3) People watching IPL finals MI vs CSK. Just observe how animated people are when seen in fast forward.

Passing by this cemetery in Ohio, where the gravestones were tilting with time in unstable ground...couldn't pass it by.
So here's the timelapse I took while up on the roof here at work. I will say it is still very scary for me to leave my camera on a windy roof for a couple of hours without being able to see it. Especially because if it were to fall it would have fallen right past my window and I would have been able to see it's demise.
The timelapse I shot was a little longer but I though 30 seconds was enough.
Note on the song playing. I'm listening to NPR today at work and there was this artist that I've never heard of named Michael Kiwanuka. He's really good, listened to his interview and some of his work and shortly after bought it on iTunes. So the song playing is one of his.
This is a reel I put together from some of my still photo time lapses from the road.

I've fancied having a go at some timelapse stuff using the dSLR for a while now so I thought I'd do a mini timelapse......using a mini!

I found my girlfriends old P&S Camera, and then thought about doing a timelapse with it. This was the first try, first time I ever used the camera and gave a go at CHDK. Now I just have to work on getting the camera to focus properly! And try to give it some more battery power! 24 hour timelapse anyone?
