Time lapse looking north, made as an experiment from star trails exposures. Not great, car headlights ruin it, brief UFO with the clouds! (suspect Chinese lantern)

Did a lot of timelapse up at Yourambulla this weekend. This was one of the set ups. Crazy steep staircase and wonky rocks. Plenty of Duct Tape. Unforunately it somehow moved during the slide, of well, its all learning.
I have so much fun setting these up!
Around 60 shots per set. No post processing. Using GoPro Studio. Quite short timelapse.. I need more experience on that
Short Timelapse Clip of the Wachsenburg (Drei Gleichen, Germany) on a windy day.
Music: Ludovico Einaudi - In a Time Lapse
Only two caught on camera amidst the satellites and aircraft. Maybe next year I can get a clear night at the peak!
Canon 7D - EF-S17-55mm F/2.8 IS USM, ISO 4000 10sec
Headed up Mt peel on Christmas Day and took a few frames, made them into a timelapse. Very quiet Christmas here, kids all travelling, as that song from the 80's said, New York, London, Paris, Munich.........., Munich the only one missing a visit there from the family on tour.
It took 24 hours to put out the fire in the school. The huge flames made the sky glow, and it was a beautiful sight, on a cold winter's night :-)
A timeplase experiment using Canon SX10 and CHDK.
Setup:
Set the candles, camera on a tripod with CHDK loaded with Timelapse script
Set 5 sec interval for the shots.
Hit shutter and grab a coffee.
Process frames in Picasa to get the movie.
I don't think to post videos here that often, but was just reminded of this one from last week. Caught a timelapse of a gorgeous sunset through the Hanover St Bridge.
Since videos are now possible on flickr, I couldn't resist to upload one that I made about a year ago. It is a timelapse made with my Ixus Wireless camera. The IXUS Wireless is great for such jobs, as you can create intervall shots from a computer connected over Wireless to the camera. So this video is a series of still frames that were taken in intervalls of about 10 seconds.
Anyway don't worry I won't be posting a daily video. :))
Photos are still my main passion and producing videos is a bit more work than shooting a photo.
The video has no soundtrack!
At first I was a bit skeptical when I read that flickr is going to allow videos too, however when I read in the rules that a video cannot be longer than 90 seconds and I could agree with that as in that way flickr is not going to become another "MTV on Demand Service" like YouTube with a huge amount of copyrighted material illegally uploaded and distributed.

Making-of Images of the Christophmalin.com TimeLapse Movie "The Island" about the wonderful nature and starry skies of La Palma, Canary Islands.
This was my first effort with the timelapse function of the Nikon D600. I wish I could have added a few more seconds but I had to go. The meteors are part of the annual Perseid shower. Settings were f2.8, ISO 3200, 30 seconds, with a 1 second delay between exposures. The camera automatically turns it into a movie based on the internal video settings in the camera. The resolution is much better than what is rendered here.
