Tabăra Bucuriei 2016. Junior 2. Week 2

Just trying things out before going on a trip next week. Five sec per frame until near the end, where it switches to 20 sec per frame.

My first attempt at aurora timelapse. The camera took 591 frames in one hour.

Timelapse around London eye

Here in Toolik Lake the Sun did rise above the horizon today, just not high enough to make it over the mountains of the Brooks Range to the south. The Sun got about half a degree above the horizon before it set again, while the mountains are about 1.5 degrees high. The whole day lasted about 2 hours. I'm counting this as my first day where the Sun didn't rise.

My first attempt at timelapse with my Rebel T3. small 10sec. Nighttime time lapse.

This is my second attempt at a timelapse, and the first time I've tried doing one that mixes day and night. It is 406 images, 1 taken ever 1 minute. There are some minor issues, and I could probably resolve most of them by taking the time in Lightroom to do so, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out.

A quick behind the scenes of the prep and taking of the current council group shot. The whole process took about five hours becouse it can be difficult to find time in their schedual. The actual shoot took about 3 minutes.

The Martinique vacations are over, but now is the time to look through my photos! I took these timelapses to try some stuff. Not the highest quality, but for windows moviemaker and my setup, I forgive the flicker.

A timelapse shot in the clear, dark skies at 5600m way up in the Indian Himalayas. Shot as single frames on a Canon 5d II and stitched in Quicktime Pro.

The foreground is actually a lake.. hence the reflections!

Apoligies for the rotation... best i could do for now!

Erich and I hiked a mile and a half with a timelapse dolly and our camera gear to photograph the delicate arch under a near full moon.

A simple way for me to capture Iphone timelapses for social media use. Joby coming in Clutch!

We went out for a night shoot saturday afternoon so we did the sunset too

The moon rose around 9pm as we made our way back

I thought I might have a play with timelapse around the fire

I sat around the fire until nearly 3am

Its very nice when its cold

I set the alarm for a few hours later

The clear skies had cloud moving through and some colour

So I decided to do some more

I spaced the time between the shots closer as the cloud was moving quite nicely and with the fire in the FG you have two areas to watch the changes

I set it to take 20 frames and reset it to 50 frames and went off shooting the sunrise and liz started it again and I took a few at the end

There is 121 frames in this and I slowed it to 25% so that it lengthened the video so you can enjoy it a little more

You can get it to zoom in and out and to pan but I am having trouble figuring that out yet

I went through and adjusted the light in lightroom then exported the jpegs to a folder and renamed them in order so they could be loaded into the timelapse video in photoshop

I will have to keep learning some more

I have some star shots at the house last month that I captured manually without setting the controller that I could put together

This is also saved in the low quality setting to keep the file size down

Then there is a million ideas that you could do this with day and night
