My good friend Bob W. chats with his buddy, engineer Matt (left), while "San Joke" 710 makes its station stop. Anyone that knows Bob knows that is his signature "Coffee" cup he always has when he is out. The BNSF was dead this day but we really didn't care. The Mickeys and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale still went down well.

The Slammers coach/director/president lives a few miles from me. He got together the local kids to form a team to play in club. It's a cool story-they won several gold medals at big tournaments! Impressive for an "unexperienced" coach and team going up against teams where admission is $4000!
Over the summer weeks (if you can really call them summery at the moment). Time Out London are including a pull-out tourists guide to the capital. In it is a handy map of Central London, drawn up and Illustrated by us.
There's all sorts on there and it means that next time we go to London we will bore people with all the information we learnt about the landmarks as we researched them and what they look like. Enjoy! and if you get lost, don't come after us!
...at times I almost dream
I, too, have spent a life the sages' way,
And tread once more familiar paths. Perchance
I perished in an arrogant self-reliance
Ages ago; and in that act, a prayer
For one more chance went up so earnest, so
Instinct with better light let in by death,
That life was blotted out-not so completely
But scattered wrecks enough of it remain,
Dim memories, as now, when once more seems
The goal in sight again...
