I spotted these unusual tail lights on a car while I was shopping. Looks like something that might be on a time machine.

Many times I saw this scene when I was young. Mostly from my father or grandfathers car. I wanted to jump out and ride this facinating interurban tram.
It was two-colored, cream and red. It had different noices, smelt different, rattled over the many rail/rail crossings in the old harbour area.
The city; Streets were full of life, street vendors.
Rotterdam, the port city
Chimneys, steamships, old trucks, horse and cart, cargo bikes, towing cars, sonorous sounding steam ship's horns,
steaming grain elevators, barges, tugs. And these wonderful trams in the Rosestraat.
The RTM trams; In 1960 there were still 2 services from here. One to Hellevoetsluis and one to Oostvoorne. In my memory a tram to a different world. My time machine ….
In 1966 the last service Spijkenisse - Hellevoetsluis stopped and changed to bus. In 1966 also the tracks in Rotterdam were removed. The stion building in Rosestraat is still there also motorcar M1804 is still running at the Ouddorp RTM museum.
Thank you Curly for sending this print to me a long time ago.
Such a happy memory.
PS M1804 is still active today.

I was fascinated by the increasing negative space as sand trickled through an hour glass. I have a lot to learn about photographing reflections but it was fun.

Lomo Turquoise; shot at ASA100, kind of cloudy day; Zeiss Ikon Nettar 6x6 full on mechanical manual focus everything. The most portable lightweight medium format contraption ever. Delivered despite my focus guessing in meters, which is not my strong suit.
The car is BLUE, but the film made it BROWN. Crazy. Fun.
I made the time machine that appeared in the movie [The Time Machine].
It's also a steampunk style, and it's my favorite machine.
I would like to improve it in the future so that the reproducibility can be improved.
There's a Gremlin on this flight.
Which raises an interesting question - can you use a time machine to make feeding them after midnight into not feeding them after midnight?

No new builds in this pic, but it's rainy and I can't go outside so I'm working on improving my photography in general.
