The second hand just had a leap of 1.6 seconds in time. The actual time of the shutter. This 1.6 seconds belongs now to history and with it all that has happened in this 1.6 seconds.

This is not an recent photo but i took this one june 2020.

Lomo Turquoise; shot at ASA100, kind of cloudy day; Zeiss Ikon Nettar 6x6 full on mechanical manual focus everything. The most portable lightweight medium format contraption ever. Delivered despite my focus guessing in meters, which is not my strong suit.

The car is BLUE, but the film made it BROWN. Crazy. Fun.

SET UP

2 sb600 behind the curtain/white table cloth shoot at full power to give a full effect

and one sb900 shoot bounce on silver umbrella at 1/4 power as a main light for the object/me

the trick to give that warping effect is i hang a white table cloth on the door than shoot it with speedlight

touch up in lightroom to clean a little mess

Kolkata can sometimes be a Time Machine in itself. While wandering the city, you can go from being mesmerised by some vintage scenes, or be amazed with the fancy nightlife, huge skyscrapers and endless flyovers.

A grey Ambassador is parked in front of an office in South Calcutta, India.

The Hindustan Ambassador is an iconic Indian car with British origins, which was manufactured near Kolkata between 1958 and 2014. Today, it is still emblematic of the West Bengal capital and its yellow taxis.

This was the only room I encountered where external windows allowed natural light into the gallery space, here displaying two members of Sugimoto's Theatre collection. With the obvious juxtaposition of subjects plus bonus reflections ... couldn't resist a snap.
