The good doctors gathered at Pataphysical Studios on a sunny Saturday to discuss their mad pursuit of time chasing devices.

Drs. Rindbrain and Fabio met with Dr. Geo to review our new sketches for the Time Machine -- and to start designing a roof and other features for our next pataphysical invention. Dr. Rindbrain showed another illuminated box using printed cloth, and Dr. Canard performed parts of the famous nose tirade in Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac. Drs. Zboon and Fabio concocted more imaginary solutions for the Magic Theater adventure.

All was well in the best possible worlds, at that time and place. Other dimensions may vary.

Fire in the hole!

In my modified version of this set shown above I swapped out ALL of the bright 'off-colour scheme' parts found in the standard version of the model with replacement parts in Black, Medium Stone Grey and Dark Stone Grey to give the model a clean, colour scheme consistent and movie-accurate look.

It's turned out very well and in my opinion is an 'essential mod' if you want to display this model on a stand in its flying mode.

That's what someone referred to this picture as, as you can't quite tell if Craig and I are naked, due to the darkness abound underwater!

Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

No, it's not the name of my new rock band, it's my latest greatest design! This brown twill is stretchy, and was sort of a pain in the butt to work with. The brass flight wings are vintage army air corp stampings.

DeLorean Time Machine

Steampunk, before it became the full-blown sub-culture it is today, started out as a science-fiction sub-genre in the 1970s. Its fundamental inspirations go all the way back to 19th century Victorian writers, such as Jules Verne (author of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) and H.G. Wells (author of The Time Machine).

what is your favorite Old School Jam.....?

We all have one

day 76

Probably one of the sweetest, loveliest LEGO sets (relatively little) money can buy.

My almost-3-year-old daughter and a 1981 DeLorean in the parking lot of Kellogg Community College during a hot air balloon festival held in Battle Creek, Michigan, on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012. I asked the owner how it drove and he laughed and said, "Like a go-kart."

Aparently, these are hard to find in stores, Ive never seen any. But when I was at Autorama and passed by a Hotwheels booth and saw these, I had to buy them! Ive been looking all over for these. There was even an 60s Batmobile, but i was in such shock to find these, I didnt think to buy the batmobile too, I should have.....

I wish these both these hotwheels woulda came out when I was a kid, growing up watching both Back to the Future and Ghostbusters...these woulda been my all time favorite hotwheels to play with! lol Now they're my favorite in my collection.
