I decided to timelapse the firework display last night in Blackpool. First such timelapse but i like the results. If only I had leveled by tripod first!! I could straighten the 240 shots that make this up, but I dont have time no patience!

My very first time lapse. Shot with the GoPro Hero using the Suction Cup Mount placed on my car's windshield. I set it to capture an image once every ten seconds. Unfortunately, the battery went dead quicker than I thought -- I most likely didn't have it charged all the way.
I compiled the images in Premiere Pro CS5.5 and colorgraded it using RedGiant Colorista.
If you've done timelapse using the GoPro - please post any hints or tricks you've used and feel free to link your own videos here too.
Missed the sunset, this is actually facing east... I like the movement of the moon, but it's not as cool as the cloud movement in #1 or #3.
See #1 for technical notes...

Timelapse movie taken on Gateshead Quayside. It started raining when I arrived, so I went to the top of the Baltic Arts Centre, but then I moved to the Millennium Bridge once the rain had cleared.
The first clip is taken with a Ricoh GR Digital. The second clip is taken with my Canon DSLR, intervalometer, 10-22mm lens, and a Meade Telescope head to create the panning. (Otherwise known as the milapse head.) The final clip is taken with the Ricoh again, and it features me packing my stuff away at the end, and of course my Canon timelapse rig in action. This is my favorite clip of the three.
Endlich fertig ... mein erster Zeitraffer "Film" ist fertig und online.

This is a hay field that turned into a makeshift camp ground to accommodate total eclipse chasers in Madras, OR. Despite minor light pollution from nearby city and close by tents, visibility of Milky Way was pretty descent.
