A timelapse to watch the wood melting like ice. Actually, there's even a chunk of dry ice melting in the fire at some point.
Next time I'll try to capture the full story and let the fire die slowly.

This is a timelapse film of the frost melting from the Frosted 4 Colour Sun Wheels after two nights of leaving them out in the cold.

I recently took a trip out to my Dad's for his birthday and mounted the GoPro on the hood of the car while leaving the city for the country.

This is my Canon SD870is point and shoot taking this timelapse.
The camera runs CHDK which provides a scripting language. A script is running to shoot a frame every 1.5 seconds which I later assemble into a timelapse in HD.
Since the camera has no viewfinder the LCD doesn't turn off, draining battery life. You can see the workaround here, a old headphone cord plugged into the video-out port to turn off the lcd.
The camera sits on my trusty 15 year old Ultrapod II, strapped onto a handy root so I could be close to the water.
I hope this is okay as I have a confession to make. I have only done a few frames for timelapse before. There was a problem with the sun coming in and out, which caused problems. And not all of the film downloaded as there is a limit on free accounts for only 90seconds
