I recently took a trip out to my Dad's for his birthday and mounted the GoPro on the hood of the car while leaving the city for the country.

My continuing obsession with timelapse and continuing frustration with the not-great picture quality from my easy-peasy timelapse camera has forced me into the arms of my GoPro. Which is awesome, but has been counterintuitive for me. I don't know why this didn't film with the ratio I expected. And I'm irked the battery life is so short. And was really, really irked that my effort yesterday when the clouds were super-cool didn't work out. But for a day that seemed just generally "overcast", these two hours of sky were actually pretty cool.

First attempt at a timelapse photo/video.
Taken with a Nikon D3, 1 exposure per minute, over about six hours, starting just after midday. Put together as a video using Aperture 3.
My 2nd time lapse attempt. This one has a little more interest in the sky, although I lost connection to my Raspberry Pi so didn't get as many frames as I wanted too (missing the sun set).
The weather has been stormy this last week or so.
30 second exposures every ~minute (30 seconds of dark frame in between each), limited in time by how long the failing street lamp was off for.
I bought a second hand camera off the receptionist at work -- an Olympus E-500, and decided to experiment with it after a few too many beers on Friday night.
Our boys planted this cactus in a pot 10 years ago. Last night it flowered for the first time.
Amazing that such a harsh, no nonsense plant can produce something so delicate and fragrant.
Tried to give a different outlook, its the same room as some of the other time lapses but facing outwards. It was interesting to watch people just going about their day. I feel like this is slightly too dark so you can't see the Polaroid developing completely and it is also too fast making it hard to understand whats going on. I like how its framed though with the film front and centre.
