I was up all night so I tried a sunrise timelapse. A pretty weak video, but it was impromptu and was fun to make. Next time I'll find a better vantage point.

My first attempt at a night sky timelapse video. Photos were taken above Flathead Lake, MT.
The video is rendered at 15 fps in the trial version of VideoMach.

The images were cropped and touched up a little in Lightroom 2.
The original file looks much better, flickr's encoder unfortunately compressed the video significantly.
My first attempt at timelapse, lasts about 2 minutes.
The photos were taken with my D90 tethered to a computer using DCamCapture. And then converted to video using FFMpeg.
It was 1 photo every 8 (I think) seconds and this was the 22nd of December (so after the very light snow fall here in Oxon).
A few things to note for next time:
Take fewer photos further apart and display each one for longer:
Don't knock the tripod
Need to get the camera closer to the window to cut out reflection in the afternoon.
On this one the battery cut out after only 2908 picture - I only thought to check how many Nikon said it would last after, and that was 800 - so I didn't get the sun going down.

This is my first attempt to produce a little timelapse video. The shots were taken during a trip to Senj, Croatia. The result is not perfect and the sun/clouds did not really play along but finally I'm happy with it.
I know vertical video is verboten, but honestly, it worked better in this instance than horizontal.
Shot using an Infragram (modified Moebius action cam) in timelapse mode. Black and white conversion in Lightroom, then used some OSX freeware (Zeitraffer?) to convert to MOV.
Experimenting with timelapse using my star tracker. Came out ok aside from some flicker caused by blown out clouds due to not lowering my camera exposure to compensate. The area where this was taken was burned down in the Summer of 2020 and is slowly recovering.
I've been playing with a GoPro Hero 6. This is a timelapse from the hotel window on a grey day in Chicago. Just stuck it to the window with a suction cup and went for dinner.
I'm not planning to put video other than Timelapse on Flickr.

Questa è una veloce compilation dei timelapse che ho ripreso l'anno scorso con la GoPro. L'idea originale era di creare una composizione con un video dedicato per ognuno di loro ma, purtroppo, il materiale si accumulava ed il tempo scarseggiava.
Per cui, per non lasciarlo nel dimenticatoio, ho deciso di realizzare questo veloce lavoro.
Come sempre girare i video è più interessante che montarli :(

Summer Solstice 2022, on the top of a 460m rock in Cyclades islands, Greece. This is a single RAW shot, edited in Nikon NX Studio for brightness and saturation. I spent the whole night recording timelapse sequences and the experience was fantastic! It is part of a short film I have published on YouTube under the title "Anafi 2022". Another timelapse off my balcony. Again.
This one is about 1800 photos. Took a large part of the afternoon which included me taking a nap, watching some TV and going to the mall for a bit. The magic of technology.
The scenery is so calm and peace, hence I have to make a shot or two, just to share the"feel" of the location :)
Timelapse video of the first day of installation. Unfortunately, the project wasn't completed and I can't go back to complete the video for the second day of the installation of the actual panels. Still fun to watch. ~10:30am to 4pm
El 27 de Julio, arriba hacía mucho viento y frío debido a la altura. Unos 40 minutos disparando cada 15 s. No pude aguantar más tiempo aunque me resguardé tras una peña.
Another attempt at timelapse. I used Magic Lantern and bump ramping to even out the exposure. I could watch the exposure drop from 1/160th of a second to 1/10th as the light got darker. Next time I will go for a longer duration and I want to introduce the Burns Effect to make it more interesting. Processing was with LRTimelapse and Lightroom.
