First timelapse aproach

Video is a collection of dynamic photographs. I tried to make this timelapse video with 1000 photos.

clouds over the Reid glacier, from illumination saddle

Since I was stuck at home today, I thought I'd point the camera out the window and get some kind of record. Not the most exciting view, but at least you get to see folks dig out toward the end of the afternoon.

One shot every 15s, assembled at 30 fps, covering about 7.5 hours.

Timelapse of a grafted cork elm. Cork elms were once prevalent in the Kalamazoo area, but over logging and Dutch Elm Disease decimated their population. In a collaborative effort between WMU's Office for Sustainability and MSU, a number of cork elm samples have been grafted to Dutch Elm Disease resistant root-stock in an effort to reintroduce a once popular species.

trying intervallometer I made this short timelapse video from my balcony where you can see orion, jupiter, sirius, procyon, aldebarand and pleiades. Light pollution and flickr upload process made a bit hard to see all sky objects

Here the example pics where I named all the objects flic.kr/p/brxDVi

A 40 minute timelapse taken in Melbourne Florida

So it's been a while without touching the camera. This sort of happens every single winter in Tromsø. It's so cold to be outside during the dark period and shooting takes forever since it's so dark.

And everytime it gets bright again my lust for hotography starts all over!

This little timelapse took me a lot of work to make, and when I was done I noticed a big piece of dust on all the pictures. Because of that I won't be using it later in my projects but I will show all of you what I am working on at the moment!

My camera took tfive pictures every 10 seconds for 40 minutes creating 254 HDRs. Later I edited them into a timelapse.

I hope you like it, but either way I think it's quite fun to do, so I'll keep on doing it.

PS: it seems that the quality of the movie is not good after I uploaded it to flickr.

A timelapse of my summer job at the harbour of Mandelieu-la-Napoule!

Hope you'll enjoy!

Give me feedbacks :)

Amateur mistake! Forgot to switch camera to manual focus Grrrrrrrrr!!

This is the first time I've had a go at a timelapse. I have realised I have many things to learn on the post editing side of things. How did I do this? I attached my camera to my laptop and via the Canon software set up for a photo to be taken every 20 mins, i set the camera to f8 and exposure automatic. The first 2 photos were sat on a box of tissues which is why I think the stems are brighter at the bottom! Because of the different lighting levels I have struggled to maintain a simialr colour tone to each photo and ended up using the magic wand to change the background to black. If anyone can tell me a better method It would be much appreciated :-)

Sunset timelapse over Trout Lake

Since my D80 doesn't do timelapse I tethered it to my MacBook Pro and used an automator workflow to shoot the sunset. I only wish I would have set it for more than 45 minutes. The sky just exploded after the sun went down below the horizon.

A short timelapse of the suburbs around the golf course in Bath. I wish I made it a little longer, but I didn't have my remote and was simply pressing the shutter button for every shot. Needles to say I got bored pretty quick. Watch at 720p full screen! www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTtnNR-u9LI

Se han utilizado 386 fotografías para montar el timelapse, en el que 2 horas de vida real se ven reflejados en apenas 40 segundos de vídeo.
