Be very quiet - Link, Frankand Jimmy Dean are sleeping. (Albeit, JD blends in to the dark background.)
I cooked up a pot of Brussels Sprouts - Jimmy Dean, Frank and Link love them. I cooled some and chopped them up for them. Not to many because they tend to get a bit gassy.
Coming home from the rose garden, we took the sidewalk home instead of cutting through the park so you can hear the cars passing by.
The roads are full of dead frogs and toads - it has been rainy and coll, they come out to the road to warm-up and get ran over. Jimmy Dean found the first one, but Franks and Link came in quickly.
Heavy rains flooded the Chatuchak weekend market on 19th Sept 2009. This was only the beginning. In less than 30 minutes the water rose to shin-height, and covered not only the internal passageways, but the roads surrounding the market as well.

Dottie Ann is the neighbors dog, she is big, but friendly. She is a mix: rottweiler - lab- pit bull. The boys love her, Frank always wants to play with her. (And yes, I did call her a him!)
Some fun and games at Nelson's Creek MTB Festival: we catch up with Jason shortly after crossing the finish line to find out how it all went, and then meet up with René and Damien back at the car.
When I call the dogs in, Link and Frank come running. But Jimmy Dean, can drive me nuts. He will wander around the back yard sniffing and looking and pretending he doesn't hear me. He does this almost every time, unless I offer a dog-treat or if I ask if he wants to go on a walk - then he will come running.
Link, Frank and Jimmy Dean always keep me wondering about what is going on in those plum sized brains. And in regards to Link's action, let's remember the quote from Seinfeld. "Not that there's anything wrong with it!"
Link usually starts it, but the others join in. Link goes nuts if he gets a little wet while on a walk; Jimmy Dean and Frank like any excuse for going nuts.

This is a diesel-powered hydraulic mechanical spider. It weights about 1,600 lb.
De-Inventing The Wheel - This ridable mechanical walking machine was designed by a team of artists and engineers as an industrial metal beast destined to rock Burning Man and the world of kinetic sculpture. Inspired by Vancouver Junkyard Wars, this giant hydraulic monster was hewn from steel with passion and precision. Call it robot... call it biomimicry... call it what you will... We call it... The MONDO SPIDER.
It was originally shown at Burning Man 2006: Hope and Fear.

Insects flying madly around a bright light in a car lot on a hot summer night. I think they are moths. The sound is a passing motorcycle.
I also took still photos of the insect trails that allow you to see the path swept out by the wings.

Don't you love how the bling (hanging from the rear view mirror) flops around?
I had a bowl of boiled cabbage and the boys were begging for it, they love vegetables of any kind. Jimmy Dean and Link are gentle at taking it, Frank will take a finger if you're not careful.
It has been raining all day and the boys would not go out in the morning or at lunch, but after work I think they had to go bad enough to go out in the light rain. When ever Link gets wet from rain, he runs around like a crazy dog and Jimmy Dean joins in. Frank runs around with them, but he is not to sure as to what is going on.
Jimmy Dean jumped in to my seat and was pretending to be sound asleep - but his tail told a different story.

EXPLORED - Aug 28, 2009 #423
I gave the dogs some rawhide chew toys - I don't give them those often because Jimmy Dean goes nuts over them and will stay at them until he eats it all.
I tried to get a quick, 90 second tour of my overgrown back yard. It is quick and fast moving and full of mistakes - but I tried to get it all in in 90 seconds.
I was trying to play with Link but Frank was not going to let that happen - he wanted me to play with him or both of them, but not Link alone.
