This is why I have dogs. I'm rewarded with impromptu performances like this numerous times a day. She's discovered Murphys basket of plush creatures.
I could spend 24/7 with my dogs - I enjoy their company, but life necessitates that I have to leave them behind on occasion - AND THEY HATE IT!

A series of pictures taken during the last summer of a young lady
who enjoys the freshnes of nature. We were cleaning up our picture box from 2009
and came across these shots, taken with our old D80. Jolene F. took the pictures
and me " dad " cleaned them-up and provided the slideshow with soundtrack.
A nice refreshement during the long and cold winter.

The snow came very early this year, and it was not just a little bit. We got overnight 15cm. I have taken some shots in and around the garden / house. The movie moves fairly fast since it is limited to 90 sec.

In the late fall I visited the abandoned village Doel.
Doel is a small village in the province of Antwerp Belgium. The complete village has to make space for the extension of the Harbour. Within a year from now none of the buildings will remain.
Despite opposition from locals, the plan will go on.
Currently only a few locals are still in their houses. The others have moved away since last summer. The abandoned houses are now occupied by Kraker (illegal tendents).
The soundtrack might be a littlebit spooky, but that was the intention.

I had the boys penned up in the kitchen while i went to tend to my father. When I got home Frank and Link were excited to see me. Jimmy Dean used to the time to raid the stash of Link (Link will sleep on his treats to save them until he is hungry. When he gets up Jimmy Dean (and some times Frank) will raid his spot and eat what they can find.

Jimmy Dean could hear cars outside and they were annoying him, but he didn't budge to go see what was offending him - he just sat and grumbled.

Im Anschluss an die Bergparade vereinen sich alle Bergmusiker vor der St. Annenkirche zu einem großen Bergkonzert.

It was very windy on the James River today, I took Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank for a walk to the river. It was nice and warm inspite of the wind - 72 degrees F.
The video and the nest one, also, are poor quality - the camera was set on the wrong settings.
We had several inches of rain last night, the back yard is flooded under about 2 inches of water again. So I took Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank for a walk instead - it was very windy today.

Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank were in their pen, upstairs. They don't like me leaving them - they cried and howl like babies.
On passage from the Solent to eastbourne. This 52ft boat sped along under single reefed main, and jib. The speed rarely fell below 6 kts, and in one 3 hour period we covered more than 9 miles in each hour, with some help from the Channel spring flood tide.

Weihnachtliche Klänge mit dem Oberwiesenthaler Posaunenchor

It stopped raining so I took the boys out for a quick walk. While we were out I swung over to check in on the abandoned dogs.
First off let me correct something I said in the video. I said I got a 21 pound turkey for 9 pounds. What I meant to say was i paid $9 for a 21 pound butterball turkey. I decided to cook it today and then me and Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank can snack off it for a few days or more. While it was cooking, I cooked up theheart, gizzard, liver and neck - when done, I gathered all the meat from the items, chopped them up and gave them to the boys for a treat.
I carried out to the car the dogs car seat and the Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank thought I was heading out on a road trip without them and they were a little disturbed.
(I wish you could have just seen Link when i played this back, he was looking all over trying to figure out who was in such distress.)

I mixed a little saffron rice, pimentos and chicken with Beneful Healthy Weight Dog Food and gave it to Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank - they must have liked it because they left nothing behind.
My next door neighbor was out back when I let the dogs out for lunch - Frank's Girlfriend - Dottie Ann (Pitt Bull-Lab-Rottie Mix) was at the fence (and he was excited).
