Time, seawater and waves have worn the grab handles on the ladders on the seawall.

This one was a little overexposed, I had to adjust the levels a bit in PS, it's grainy and gritty but I like it.

Seasons change with the scenery

Weaving time in a tapestry

Won't you stop and remember me

At any convenient time?

Funny how my memory skips

While looking over manuscripts

Of unpublished rhyme

Drinking my vodka and lime

I look around

Leaves are brown

And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

This is my first attempt at a Time lapse video, Wanted to try it out on my new old Nikon D200, I think works great fun to play around with. I Slowed it Down in Final cut Pro and Did Some color adjustments in After effects. On a Side note I was threatened by two homeless men across the street next to the starbucks who said they would break my camera if I didn't leave. Not sure why it bothered them so much they where so angry. Well Short story Short I tried to Shoot longer but they wouldn't led up so I left. Stinks It was really going well for my first attempt. Thanks for looking. Mark

It all began when I put a heart into a bezel and decided to trap it with a piece of rusted mesh wire. At that moment I knew that this had to go onto a cuff bracelet … a romantic, turn of the century inspired cuff.

Inspired by the time where men still courted their ladies, drink tea on porches and go on one knee to ask for their hand in marriage, this mixed media cuff bracelet is a fully handsewn piece made up of an old faded jean seam, old crocheted tablecloth, stained linen, rustic Howlite, brass wires and chains, stained lace, stained gauze and a time capsule in the form of a heart trapped in rusted wire.

*the cuff fits a 6.5 inch wrist snugly, but has extensions to fit to a 7.5 inch wrist

Time stood still

It seems just like yesterday

In the beginning ....

.... I used to have lots of time but I am getting seriously backlogged again :-(

If only every dawn was as serene as this.

For our Maldives holiday this year I decided to to pack a glass sphere to see what bizzare refractions I could capture (not the large, pure one I bought Laura at Christmas but a smaller, slightly imperfect one that is part of a suncatcher)

I perched this on the tripod and did a couple of test shots with my phone to see what angles worked best and then I waited for the sun to appear. It rises very quickly so I rattled off a few dozen shots at different settings and compositions and this was the one I preferred.

UAL flight UAL882 from Tokyo's Narita Int'l Airport to Chicago's O'hare Int'l Airport flown on a Boeing 777-200ER (N218UA) This aircraft left Toyko at 4:30PM local time, and landed at O'hare at 1:54PM local time, SAME day. The miracle of the International Dateline, and modern jet travel, where you can land before you took off!!! Many years ago I flew this route, and can attest to the weirdness of having your whole flight time to live over again. Of course going Westbound across the dateline, you lose a day
