This was a sort of camera experiment to see how my camera coped on fully auto The image is of St Luke's Church 161 Old St, London EC1V 9NG.
At this stage in the project i pretty much am counting down the hours so this texture map is a pretty accurate reflection of my state of mind... plus i was too worn out to go out shootin' landscapes today... so this is what you're stuck with...

Time to leave comes when
The garden gets dark and the wind passes by ,
The ground cracks and the doors slam, when
Night unties every node
Time to leave comes when
The trees look inspired
As if everything were germinating.

Looking towards Sumner from Dyers Road, that crosses the middle of the Bromley Oxidation Ponds. The water in the background is the Avon-Heathcote Estuary (about high tide) shows how far above sea level this land is.

Apart from cloning out one tiny dust spot, this photo is straight from the camera, any other marks on the petals are pollen

last weekend i visited Trinity University and it was SO AMAZING. TU is definitely number one on my list of colleges, haha. i loved it so much. it won't be too long before i'll be applying! the time goes really fast.
anyways, we were walking back to the car after a long day of tours and listening to speeches about financial aid and acceptance rates, and i spotted a little blow-up globe hanging from a tree. for some reason, i thought this was worthy of photographing.
EXPLORE #157
July 6, 2008
Just a quick little shot this time. Took this by dropping a water droplet on my phone camera to simulate a macro/fisheye lens.
Enjoy!

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say
Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells
