I went to the MOMA today, this is me on the train before passing out. im exhausted and focused on what happend earlier this morning slash last night. i dont know what to think . . . One of my more positive moments was that all my work over the year, all the good i put out into the world is finally paying off. Im still confused but i feel blessed for this time for its the sweet pleasures in life that make it all worth living.
i swore i wouldnt turn into a gayass but, im so filled with emotion my heart could just burst.
While the bunch of us were enjoying our favourite hot beverages in a local coffee bar (Coffee Culture) here in Grimsby, Ontario, we reverted to our usual routine and while busily pointing cameras at each other and discussing gear-related issues, I spotted this staff member on his break. Ensconced in one of the comfortable leather chairs near the fireplace and lost in his cell phone rather than human interaction, the tonal range and colours seemed to work together to make an interesting image. A quick raise of the camera and one shot squeezed off, and here it is. - JW

Taken using a hand-held Nikon D7100 fitted with a Nikkor 18-105m VR lense set to 105mm, ISO1250 (Auto-ISO = on), Aperture priority mode, f/5.6, 1/15 sec. PP in free Open Source GIMP: adjust tone curve to hold the top 2/3 of the tonal range at default and then slightly raise the centre part of the curve to boost the dark range somewhat and thereby make pant detail a bit more obvious, boost saturation, boost contrast and exposure overall slightly using the brightness-contrast tool, add fine black and white frame, add bar and text on left, scale 10 1800 wide for posting.

Had the opportunity go shoot a BMX Freestyle rider this evening. The dude could catch some serious air time! Really fun shoot.
Not really sure what this picture is all about..haha. It's kinda creepy. Anyways I finally gave that little old alarm clock back to my grandma...but guess what she brought me when she came down to visit! A Kodak Vest Pocket Model B camera that was manufactured in 1929. It was her mom's back in the day--pretty amazing!! I'll do something fun with it this weekend hopefully :)

Not my best, but I was trying very hard to make this not exactly the same as one of my other 365s from a few months ago.
I find myself... stressing... constantly over the amount of time I have. Its a huge factor in my life. Because I sleep so much, I have significantly less amount of time in my day than everyone else. And I try to make up for it by staying up, but that just makes me sleep more. I miss daylight. I miss feeling productive. I miss not having to worry about time. In every single thing I do. I hate sleeping so much. And I wish I had more time for this photo.

Had to go out this morning for some fun in the snow. Effy doesn't get to go outside too much due to the cold weather, so this was an adventure for her. It was still pretty windy so we didn't stay out too long. We had to walk a block down the street to find snowbanks low enough to climb over. The rest were almost head height.
Set up the tripod and snapped a few pics.

Well last night we struck it lucky in Donegal. The Northern Lights came out to play, first significant aurora display in Ireland of 2012. I thought I would share some of the images I manged to get. These Images of the phenomena were taken at Fanad Head, Co. Donegal between 20:00-21:00 on the 22nd of January (last night).
I arrived at Fanad Head with two companions, just before darkness set in. As the skies around began to dim the northern horizon began to glow and a quick snap with my camera confirmed the presence of those elusive northern light with camera showing green and red hues cast across the northern sky. As the evening progressed so did the intensity of the display. The infamous curtain effect was on display as shafts of light shot out from the base of the auroral glow and shimmered across the sky. This was greeted by a chorus of Oohs! & Ahhs! The images show the shaft of light at the base of the auroral glow.
I also managed to take a quick time-lapse of the most active part of the display we seen. Clouds interfered though. The clouds soon moved in and a few hours later we heading home and spent the 90min drive reminiscing display.

I just HAVE to upload these pics of my time turner. My aunt bought it for me through a friend who went to the Harry Potter 9 3/4 store at King Cross Station in London. It's my dream to visit it, and the Harry potter theme park in Orlando :)))
But isnt it pretty!!! Unfortunately you cant go back in time with it, it's more of a collectors item i guess XD
My Hp collection is expanding even more now :D
