Mai's dearest Xan on the day she wore her ring for the first time, and we failed to rez goodnight cushions on my 'naked platform' - primarily because neither of us had any to rez :) These are made from three snaps 'of opportunity' and not of the finest quality - as none really are with a computer like mine. ♥♥X

The Ghost Story!
THE moral of this, the Sixteenth Card of our Series, is that, if young ladies would avoid creating a scene, similar to the one the artist, Mr. R. W. Buss, gives us in this admirable picture, they had better forego reading ghost stories at bed-time.
As the rough, wintery season of the year approaches, do not forget that a Cold, once contracted, demands prompt treatment, lest the accompanying Cough should inflame and rack the Lungs, and induce the formation of tubercles. By the use of DR. JAYNE'S EXPECTORANT, in small doses, -- repeating same according to the urgency of symptoms, -- your Cold will speedily yield, and your Lungs escape a dangerous ordeal. If you should be seized with a Sore Throat, Bronchitis, or any Bronchial Disorder, the EXPECTORANT will subdue the inflammation of the parts, detach the mucous matter which clogs them, and gradually promote a cure. In case of Asthma, the EXPECTORANT overcomes the cause of the trouble, and a prompt restoration follows. If attacked by Pleurisy, or any Acute Inflammation of the Lungs or Throat, take the EXPECTORANT according to directions, -- bathing the parts thoroughly with DR. JAYNE'S LINIMENT, -- and covering up warmly in bed. The EXPECTORANT, if taken in quite small doses by Consumptives, will ameliorate the symptoms, and especially ease the Cough as well as the oppression and soreness of the Lungs and Throat. It is a helpful remedy also in cases of Croup and Whooping-Cough, checking the violence of the attacks, and relieving the attending distress.
A Trusting Family Tonic
Is at the service of those possessing a bottle of DR. JAYNE'S TONIC VERMIFUGE. For the Dyspepsia of Adults, Indigestion, Sout Stomach, Oppression at the pit of the Stomach, and Low Spirits, it is an excellent remedy, -- the bowels in such cases being kept open, when necessary, by DR. JAYNE'S SANATIVE PILLS. Worms in Children it destroys with certainty, removing them and the distressing symptoms to which they give rise. As a Strengthening Tonic for feeble, sickly children, it renews the appetite and rebuilds the general health, and it has a curative effect in the Fever and Ague of the young.

If it weren't for the modern Mercedes to the left this could very well have been a scene from the 1950's!
In the background, a 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, the prime mover of the top brass, whilst in the foreground a humble runabout for the working man, a 1958 Morris Minor.
Interesting to note that back in 1959 the cost of one Rolls Royce Silver Cloud would have been the equivalent of 10 Morris Minors! An interesting coincidence :)

This model was built for the "Best of LEGO Friends" contest on LEGO's Rebrick website. I originally made this back in the Spring to take to Philly BrickFest, and I took it with me to BrickFair Virgina, where it became a semifinalist in the contest.
My goal with this display was to take the Friends theme in a different direction while still retaining the spirit of the theme. "Friends in Time" depicts an early 1900s camping scene, complete with a lively picnic, fishing, catching butterfiles and a circa 1912 Ford Model T meandering through the woods.
Getting the covered bridge to sit diagonally was probably the most challenging part of the build. It was also interesting using existing Minidoll parts and minifigure accessories to make early 20th Century Friends figures. I also had a lot of fun playing with color.
We stopped in a road side tea stall for tea. After some time, one of the nearby shopkeeper ordered for a cup of tea, and then went outside leaving his tea in his shop. This is when I took this shot :)

I had the opportunity to shoot at Ikonix studio in Des Moines. We had a blast shooting pet and human portraits. I can't wait to spend some more time in the studio learning how to manipulate different types of lights.

Colour changed...(For those who don't know..Burnham On Sea UK beach is normally a muddy brown colour as we are an Estuary/Channel ..)
We didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach in front of our resort (that’s not our style), but we did spend some. We also discovered that by staying in the area that caters more to Europeans, you get the occasional (to our right and our left) topless sunbather (not pictured).

En vista de que las nubes me fastidiaron lo que quería hacer, para no eliminar todas las fotos hago mi primer Time-Lapse.

I got to meet All TIme Low again! I walk up to Jack and he says "Hey I know you". Ah! I was freaking out that he remembered me! Jack left a voicemail for my friend Libby and she freaked when she heard it haha. I got them to sign my Put Up or Shut Up album cover because I got them to sign Nothing Personal at Warped Tour. I told them they we're my favorite band and that they have no idea how much they mean to me then Rian hugged me for a long time. He's like a big brother to everyone because after he hugged me he told me not to stand out in rain anymore because he doesn't want me to get sick :) Please ignore how gross i look it was raining like crazy but it was an amazing day! :D
This candid shot was taken nearby my Grandma's house in Nakhon Si Thammarat, south of Thailand. Many Years back when I was living in Bangkok, once or twice a year we were visiting her and one thing was always certain, I would go swimmimg and playing in this stream! This image takes me back to that time, when everything was still innocent and a turbulent life was still ahead of me.
Film is a funny thing. Thanks to the passage of time, a photo that wasn't printed in the early 90's can lie forgotten in a sock drawer, just another dusty last frame on a roll. But this is my dad. He died last year and this was taken when he and my mother visited me in London. It's the kind of image you'll never get with digital and because of that the future will be all the poorer. RIP Dad x
This was an alternate of the dress photo for my clone shot yesterday. I like this one too, and thought it would work well mirrored.
