Don't you sometimes feel like you are in a time warp and time is absolutely still? Today is one of those days!
I hope everyone had a great day :)!
I don't think any bird beats a robin's enthusiasm for taking a bath.
This youngster was doing its best to empty the bath.
Thanks for Explore.
Thought these looked like little chicks in the nest waiting for juicy worms and grubs to be dropped into their expectant beaks...

We'll try and get some sleep today! Last night two drunk fishing guys were at the pond. They stayed all night. They yelled and eventually one fell into the pond in the early morning. We did not enjoy their antics! Zzzzz.

Just a quick little shot this time. Took this by dropping a water droplet on my phone camera to simulate a macro/fisheye lens.
Enjoy!
Well, all I had was some pink icing but Jamie doesn't mind it all taste the same. Happy Birthday (yesterday) Oct. 26 1977. We celebrate today :)
When I do count the clock that tells the time,
And see the brave day sunk in hideous night;
When I behold the violet past prime,
And sable curls all silvered o'er with white;
When lofty trees I see barren of leaves
Which erst from heat did canopy the herd,
And summer's green all girded up in sheaves
Borne on the bier with white and bristly beard,
Then of thy beauty do I question make
That thou among the wastes of time must go,
Since sweets and beauties do themselves forsake
And die as fast as they see others grow;
And nothing 'gainst Time's scythe can make defence
Save breed, to brave him when he takes thee hence.
W. Shakespeare
This is the temple of Hephestus, one of the twelve gods of ancient greeks. Hephestus was the protector of craftsmen and blacksmiths. His temple was built in appr. 460-415 B.C. at the Agora, the heart and soul of ancient Athens, at the very spot where the idea of democracy was born.
