my new song with videos from all seasons of 2018

this will be my last upload in this not as crazy as former years but still completely insane year.

I thank you all for looking at my work and I wish you all the best in the new year

Finally got some Paula time again after way too long. I can't believe how good it felt and how much I'd missed it. Sorry for the dodgy photo quality but just had to do these on my phone and its not the best!

Thought I'd include the Christmas tree for a bit of extra cheer! Merry Christmas everybody 😊

Time for "sleep" inside The Conjuring House. Come to find out, it's ME that goes bump in the night with the lights nearly off. Ya know, being too tall for a 17th century farmhouse ceiling and bumping into everything during a paranormal investigation. We did stay overnight though!

Another picture from the time when the Arriva Cymru fleet still contained Mercs - a vehicle that was new to Bee Line in Manchester and kept its fleetnumber under Arriva ownership, Mercedes 811D / Plaxton Beaver 182 - P182 GND later transferred to Llandudno Junction depot with a few of its sisters. It is pictured here in the layby at Llandudno Junction awaiting a driver changeover while on route 73 from Llandudno. This one carried a non-standard cream radiator and was easily distinguished from its sisters. I believe this was sold to an operator in the North West and thus went back to where it came from!

I feel, Flickr should change its name to "Panda lover"!

Sorry for not visiting your sites, wishing you a great Christmas time!:)

Finally, it's time for bed. By then we were absolutely exhausted after a 9 hour flight, 3 hours of transfer and 2 game drives.

The Iron Horse arrives. I like subway stations like these cause its outside which in turn gives a different perspective from the usual. But every subway station is different in their own way and there are 468 of them in all in new york city! I'll change my mind in the winter LOL.

Out of Shiramine (Awagami Factory) I really love the feeling and the appearance of this paper.

Inside the time and clock

The Walhalla is a hall of fame that honors laudable and distinguished people in German history – "politicians, sovereigns, scientists and artists of the German tongue"; thus the celebrities honored are drawn from Greater Germany, a wider area than today's Germany. The hall is a neo-classical building above the Danube River, east of Regensburg in Bavaria.

The Walhalla is named for the Valhalla of Norse mythology. It was conceived in 1807 by Crown Prince Ludwig in order to support the then-gathering momentum for the unification of the many German states. Following his accession to the throne of Bavaria, construction took place between 1830 and 1842 under the supervision of the architect Leo von Klenze. The memorial displays some 65 plaques and 130 busts covering 2,000 years of history, beginning with Arminius, victor at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD. (source: Wikipedia)

You can find there also Sophie Scholl, member of the Anti-Nazi "White Rose", or Konrad Adenauer. All in all an interesting collection of "celebrities" and today more unknown men and women - the busts sometimes not of high quality.

I hope one day we will have a European Walhalla or European Pantheon, which unites a lot of men and women, who made great contributions to European history and spirit.

Anyhow, even this very German place shows some early European connections and roots - even in a time when nation building seemed so important. Some nationalists should think about it. And about a history, in which great parts of Europe were united in diversity.

My attempt to create a film noir image.

The term film noir, French for "black film" (literal) or "dark film" (closer meaning).

This old parking garage ramp feels like a time machine to the past. Descending the ramp you feel like you are going back in time, at least until you emerge into the modern city.

"Time After Time "

Chet Baker:

Time after time

I tell myself that I'm

So lucky to be loving you

So lucky to be

The one you run to see

In the evening, when the day is through

I only know what I know

The passing years will show

You've kept my love so young, so new

And time after time

You'll hear me say that I'm

So lucky to be loving you "
