Hey y'all, I'd like to apologize for my relative absence and for the quality of this crappy iPhone picture, but I've been hard at work on a project with my friends over at Citizen Brick...stay tuned.

Time check.
A business man rushes through the city during his lunch break. As the time slips away he takes the time for a time check.
Martin Place, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Another day of chasing the clouds at the Sand Dunes. This time, I was looking for abstract opportunities, and the fluffy white clouds were few and scattered. I was forced to run up and down the dunes to try to catch the fast moving clouds with my big stopper. I hope you guys enjoy this shot.
Thanks for viewing and have a wonderful day!

This was the first time that I have had the opportunity to visit the city of Dresden in Germany. Located on the River Elbe close to the Czech border, Dresden is the capital of Saxony and a city with a long history.
Many parts of this medieval city were destroyed by bombing in the Second World War, but have now been reconstructed.

This panorama was made from 3 separate images that I stitched together in Photoshop.
The resulting image was processed twice, a colour version in Photoshop and a black and white version in Silver Efex Pro. In Photoshop I then layered the two images with the black and white version on the top and then erased the top layer to reveal the colour beneath.
Santorini is such a wonderful place, I'm suprised that my camera did not wear out.

On a recent trek to the Everglades we were fortunate to spot this barred owl which posed for use for quite some time.
When a crow landed nearby with a crawfish in its beak this owl immediately swooped down and confiscated it then returned to a perch and leisurely snacked on it.
Finished a CPR course at uni today to find a message on my phone from a friend to give him a call ASAP with big news. Upon reaching him, was told that there was triple QRN 6020 class on BM7, followed by Indian Pacific NR leading BA4 and finally NR103. On my previous 2 attempts NR103 had been elusive, coming after dark or not leading.
As we reached Pennant Hills, the triple QRN 6020 class went through so I knew I had just enough time to race home and get my camera and get back down for a shot.
Having sprinted to the car, raced home and then back to Cheltenham, I found my efforts were not in vain as a suburban to Chatswood was still to arrive. Seeing this I was able to relax a little and set up my shot. Shortly afterwards, NR103 appeared heading south making all the effort put in for the shot completely worth it
Thousands of starlings tonight doing their ariel acrobats before going to rest for the night under the waterfront pier. They form huge clouds in the sky and suddenly they all dive straight down and under the pier. Incredibly difficult to capture the shots I wanted but the lovely clouds provided a lovely backdrop.
After 11 and a half days of quiescence, Etna's New Southeast Crater is back on the stage. After a powerful explosion at 08:25 h GMT (=local time -1) on 14 December 2013, ash emissions continued for some time and then Strombolian activity set in, which is continuing as of 18:30 GMT. This is a view taken at 08:57 GMT from near S. Leonardello, on the lower eastern flank of the volcano.
Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it, you can never get it back
Very busy the next couple of weeks. I have to do my CPE exam, (Certificate of Proficiency in English is for learners who have achieved an extremely high level of skill in the English language, whahahaha can you believe that???)
