I recently had the opportunity to re-shoot this, this time i decided to process it slightly darker, more my normal style
Little Italy on Preston St. in Ottawa, Canada. Spring thinks it's Summer today, it hit a high of almost 30C. From an ice storm last week to this today, it's crazy making , lol!
Another shot from my session at Marsalforn Bay, Gozo, Malta. Very high winds created the high waves. I was facing north so had the sun fully on the picture.

Lāʻie, Oʻahu.
The pier was constructed in 1887 by the Laie Plantation. It was built for the loading of sugar onto boats and prevented the sacks of sugar from getting wet in the surf. The sugar mill ceased production in the 1890s and the pier was later abandoned.
Today, some of the pilings from the pier remain, a reminder of a bygone era. One piling stands in the surf, appears like a sundial silently measuring the passage of time.

I am not drinking coffee anymore, I think I was addicted to it, having 3 or more cups daily. I feel better, physically, with a tea.

This morning I saved a set of recipes on the X-Pro1, little later on X-E2. Will do the same on X-T2 and fill some slots with various settings. That's refreshing way of taking pictures.
On the first night of our first trip to Sitka this year, we got a phenomenal sunset at the park. We usually have terrible weather on our Sitka trips so this was a real treat.
When you’re exhausted and your tireless toddler won’t give you a moment’s rest what do you do? Time-out has a different connotation when it’s coming from a mother polar bear. This cub spent over an hour climbing and chewing on its mother. Did the punishment help? Not at all. There’s something to be said for having twins that can keep each other busy. #PolarBears

CSX L425-05, led by 4419, begins the climb out of the Miami River Valley with a short train for Connersville. 4419 has been bouncing around Cincinnati area locals for some time now so it's finally nice to see it.
In just a very short time my hubby, Wyatt, is coming for a visit and we will be going crazy in NYC! This pic represents my waiting for him, how slow the time is moving, and just how much he means to me

K.Marinović - Time To Go
Hello everyone, here is my newest work called "Time To Go"! I guess I´ve kinda implemented my old style in this shot, a lot of playing with light, in B&W, of course. I really like how the editing turned out, it really has that "old" vibe to the shot.

I do hope that all the whining whingers of today, who constantly berate the older generation for ruining their lives, plus the planet, take at least a few minutes today to ponder on how lucky they are....doubt they will. Blaming those who lived on a shoestring and sacrificed everything for future generations is despicable. In those days people never really talked about what they went through and there was never any emphasis on mental health issues which were brought on by traumatic events. Many of these brave souls just got on with it and no doubt suffered deep down. Bless each and every one of them.....those who are no longer with us and those who are still here to keep the good, as well as the bad memories alive. Although those times were no doubt unbelievably tough, I am certain we will never, ever experience the truly wonderful, shared camaraderie that came with it.
