OK....a lot going on here. First off as soon as I noticed this pink ticket on the windshield as I left the coffee shop where I'd had an extended brunch, I thought (or rather hoped) it was from a Friend that had drove by and left a sweet note. LOL Not so. So me being the civic minded individual, I drove straight to the City Hall and paid the fine ($5.00) without paying much attention. After I posted it on FB, some of my friends pointed out the date was from the future (Did Jean Claude van Damme return from Time Cop to write this ticket?) . Strange things already happening in 2013.

Our tour tickets for London Transports LRT/SR/RH&D Railtour, behind preserved ex Metropolitan locomotive No 12 "Sarah Siddons"
So for £18.50 each we had 149 miles behind No 12 with the train made up of MK1 stock S3837, S4033, S3919, S34641, S4076 and S4066., 27 miles on the RH&D Railway behind Hurcules and Southern Maid.
East Kent provided some AEC Regent's for the 18 mile Folkstone West-Hythe-Dover Western Docks leg, the ticket also allowed virtually unlimited use on London Transport buses and train that day.
My notes tell me haulage to Euston was 05.21 off Crewe behind 85026, returning on the 20.42 Liverpool Lime Street train behind 85010.

Formally established in 1720, the University of Edinburgh Medical School has long been regarded as one of the best medical schools in the English speaking world. This ticket was one of a limited number issued to medical students wishing to attend lectures. In 1720 the first of three Alexander Monro's was appointed professor of anatomy, followed by his son and grandson. The Monro's were professors of anatomy for 128 years, and the ticket in this image would have been for the lectures of either the second or third Alexander Monro, and likely took place in the newly constructed 200-seat Anatomy Theatre built in College Yard, later to become known as the New Quad.
The University of Edinburgh Medical School remains is still amongst the top ranked in the UK with an admission rate of only 13%.

It was a Sunday and it all started like:
I think I'm gonna' be sad,
I think it's today yeah.
The girls that are driving me mad
Are going away, yeah.
They've got a ticket to ride,
They've got a ticket to ride,
They've got a ticket to ride,
But they don't care.
I don't know why they're ridin' so high,
They ought to think twice,
They ought to do right by me.
Before They get to saying goodbye,
They ought to think twice,
They ought to do right by me
.
They said that living with me,
Is bringing them down, yeah.
For they would never be free
When I was around.
Ah, they've got a ticket to ride,
They've got a ticket to ride,
They've got a ticket to ride,
But they don't care.
My babies don't care, my babies don't care.
Lyrics and song by: "THE BEATLES" slightly modified by me.. :-)
The real thing here..lol thanks to Youtube..:-)
Now this is how train tickets should look. I collected every one from where it says on the ticket or left by the passenger, if not it didn't go in the collection.
The euro arrived in Estonia on 1 January 2011. This ticket was valid on tram, trolleybus and bus in Tallinn. in 2011, a single ticket costs 96c from a street outlet or 1.60 Eur from the driver. 63.9 c per ticket from a book of 10.
Don't we all hate parking tickets? Saw this mini on a photo shoot a few days ago and had to get it's photo with the ticket.
I'm not sure HDR is even necessary to bring out the punch on a car. I created this look just by adjusting the shadows/highights and contrast of the image. Because it made the car appear darker, I darkened the right portion of the image as well to match the lighting. I also sepia'd the right portion to push the interest back to the car.
This is a large widescreen image. Enjoy ;-)
took this HDR with my camera after I was pulled over for my first speeding ticket.. I couldn't have asked for a better view to cheer myself up.
Sadly this was shot in sRAW 1 on my 5d.. so its around 5mp but still decent..
the cop wouldn't take a photo for me, or let me get out of the car to take a better one :{

One of my favorite Flickr friends Anthony Griego made some tickets for his sports photography business. His tickets inspired me to give them a try. It took me quite a bit of time because I had to a lot of Google-ing to figure out how to do it with PS-Elements but I'm pretty happy with the results. Based on Anthony's design these are setup to be printed on a 16x20 sheet and cut into two 8x20 tickets. I think the girls will be pretty happy with these.
