Ah, downtown Toronto with its venues, restaurants, exotic cars and ... parking tickets. This McLaren was parked in a legitimate spot so I figure time had expired.
When we visited Disneyland in August 1969, you bought a ticket book as you entered. (The all-you-can-ride policy didn't begin until the early 1980's.)
You rode the rides based on the ticket category: A through E.

As a kid, this was seriously FUN. A friend at the time was a huge fan and brought me to see the seriously awesome skills of Neil Peart. OMFG!! That dude is a drumming god. Probably the greatest rock drummer ever. His solo was worth the price of admission. That and to hear Geddy Lee sing Limelight live!! Now that Fu@kin' RAWKED!!!
LIMELIGHT
Living on a lighted stage
Approaches the unreal
For those who think and feel
In touch with some reality
Beyond the gilded cage
Cast in this unlikely role
Ill-equipped to act
With insufficient tact
One must put up barriers
To keep oneself intact
[Chorus:]
Living in the limelight
The universal dream
For those who wish to seem
Those who wish to be
Must put aside the alienation
Get on with the fascination
The real relation
The underlying theme
Living in a fish eye lens
Caught in the camera eye
I have no heart to lie
I can't pretend a stranger
Is a long-awaited friend
All the world's indeed a stage
And we are merely players
Performers and portrayers
Each another's audience
Outside the gilded cage
[Chorus]

today i got a parking ticket because my parking pass was on my passenger seat instead of hanging from my rearview mirror and i was all sad that i was going to have to shell out $35 but then i went to the parking services office and they voided it no questions asked
