i pulled up a ridiculously huge amount of thyme today. it had overtaken the garden, choking out other herbs i wanted to keep. out of the mess i pulled some nice strands, washed and air-dried, then hung up to have our own dried.
This is a very old thyme plant that I cut back last year. It seems happier this year and is blooming profusely.
When the weather cleared this afternoon, I went out into my back garden to try and find some bugs for my ‘ safari’ but they were all camera shy so here’s a pic of the tiny flowers on the thyme
