The thyme flower is about 2.5 mm in size.

You can't beat a pot of thyme - not that i've ever used it in cooking..

Had to use a pun, couldn't resist. My mother's recently returned from Jamaica and among the things she brought back was a whole load of thyme. She dries it out and puts it in jars, this is in the drying out stage.
