Yet another oldie, but Étampes had so much more green areas than here and all far easier to get to.

As if any excuse was needed ....... apologies (almost) for another shot of the fine analogue clock at York station, which still works and has pride of place under the ornate Victorian roof.
I took so many shots of it that one or two were bound to come out reasonably ok - this was my second choice, not so much for the train it featured, but the way it slotted nicely into the roof skylights.
For those interested, the train is the 10.15am Newcastle - Manchester Piccadilly (1P22) Trans Pennine Express service, in the hands of an unidentified class 185 Desiro.

Thankful for our hospital in town.
Spent the day there yesterday with Dave for a colonoscopy. Long day but all results looked good said the Dr.

One of my favorites that I see every year at the Back to the Fifties car show in St Paul. But often, I don't get the opportunity for a good photo. It's in motion or too many people, etc. But this time I was able to get a good clear shot of it. HTT

Some of the clouds on the western horizon were sculpted by the winds in elongated ways and when lit by the setting sun, looked like flames!
