A vibrant start to Thursday - I was setting up the home office and glanced out of the window - just had to grab the camera and dash down to the shore. Dawn on Loch Gilp at this time of year can be a real treat.
I'm a little late to the Thirty Thursday party but better late than never I guess. This is WC train L0-34 a couple miles out of Soo yard on July 18, 1990 with 704 and 6559 leading the way.
Watching the light driving home today I had to drop in to Lake Illawarra and visit my favourite tree..

It was so nice last night we went to the Dairy Grill and got two cheeseburgers and french fries being as though it was national cheeseburger day. So we went down to the harbor and sat at a table and had dinner.
Monochrome Thursday.
Poppy Thursday (which was actually taken on Sunday over here!) is a glimpse of the adorable Bossa Nova Poppy Parker, wearing a new variation in colors of an adorable Squishtish dress that, yes, will indeed be available at the Friday Night Bazaar in just over a week. I think the deeper colors and that pumpkin-colored ribbon suit this tanned little one perfectly.
Doll: Bossa Nova Poppy Parker (she's just so cute!)
Dress: Squishtish, available in 8 days!
Bracelets: by me
All day the clouds promised spectacular sunset, owing to a deep blue skies above them. Sure enough the sky turned scarlet with gold strewn around.
Protea is both the botanical name and the English common name of a genus of South African flowering plants, sometimes also called sugarbushes. In local tradition, the Protea flower represents change and hope.

Yet another oldie, but Étampes had so much more green areas than here and all far easier to get to.
