Tres de los rascacielos que se alzan en el centro de Los Ángeles
El centro de Los Ángeles (Downtown Los Angeles), es el CBD y la parte más interior de la gran área metropolitana de Los Ángeles, pero no necesariamente la parte más importante. La ciudad es tan grande y extensa, que el centro de la ciudad se da a conocer como un distrito igual a los demás como Hollywood o el Valle de San Fernando, pero sigue siendo el área donde están todas las oficinas que tienen que ver con el gobierno de la ciudad, condado, y cortes federales.
En esta zona se encuentran las principales instituciones de arte y música, el pabellón de deportes (STAPLES Center), varios rascacielos y empresas multinacionales. También se pueden encontrar distintas muestras de arte como estatuas, tiendas interesantes, y muchas de las arterias del sistema de autovías del sur de California que cruzan el centro, al igual que el sistema de transporte público del MTA en la Union Station.

Jessie MINNS mentioned in article died 1926 aged 44 and is buried in Waikumete cemetery. She was a 'patient' at the time of her death[6]

GRAND HOTEL FIRE.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The body of Mr Ayres, Inspector of the Bank . of Australasia, missing since the fire at the Grand Hotel, was found this morning in the debris near the bedroom he occupied.[4] He was unmarried and aged 42. [5]

Three-wheeled ambulances, known as motorkings, are able to move over rough terrain to transport the sick from their homes in very remote areas to hospitals, where they can receive a better standard of care.
More than 80 ambulances were delivered to improve healthcare services in remote areas of Ghana.
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) partnered with UNOPS to procure and distribute medical equipment in the Volta and Upper East regions of Ghana. People in the Upper East Region receive much of their medical care from community-based health services. The Ghana Health Service’s Community-Based Health Planning and Services is a national strategy to help strengthen the care and services that community health workers are able to offer in some of the poorest districts, while addressing geographic barriers and bringing health services closer to people who cannot otherwise reach them.
