The big brown and tan ones are Aunt Lydia's in bamboo. They're really soft!
The DMC (round one) is in the Mocha Cream color, which is super nice.
My grandfather made this for my Mother a few months before he passed away.. he was nearly 90 years old...
He will be dearly missed...

I used photomatix and photoshop to eliminate shadows, and then GraphicConverter to frame the photo. The green thread is a member of the sunflower family.

I hadn't noticed that this scrap copper wire, sitting on my bench for months, was already formed into a ring! I only dressed it up a little with some cotton thread, before taking a picture.
Found an old macro filter i had forgotten about. This is it on the 50mm, the only lens i had on me at the time.
