I thought I would give you all a break from my ugly mug and shot a flower (or two) again. I took so many pictures of different plants and could hardly choice between them but this is one I settled on and I tried too avoid to many water droplets (even though I was really tempted!).
Tomorrow is that start of the summer weather (according to the forecast) and I'm so excited!!

I never ever expected to get this close to one of these guys. Thankfully, they don't eat humans. !!
This guy was surrounded by Black Vultures so the first thought was that it had prey. On closer inspection nothing was found, so perhaps the vultures were just hopeful.

This is a severe crop from a photo of a Cypress tree at Lake Verret. This little section of the tree caught my attention while I was processing, and just wouldn't let go!

non c’è disagio, in questa foto, ci tengo.
non poverta’, né fame, né tristezza.
nulla da commiserare, nulla per cui pensare che al mondo ci son persone più sfortunate di noi, anche se è vero.
solo –forse- un po’ di speranza, o magari un momento di intimita’, e di pensieri che volano fuori dalla finestra, dove c’è un mondo –grande- che si vorrebbe vivere, e magari lo si farà proprio.
è un buon natale, ma buono davvero, insomma: nienteppiù.

A thought can gain strength and grow into poetry, a short story or even a book. All things have beginnings that are usually small and humble. Great songs begin with a thought that grows into lyrics. A musical note will grow into a melody, a chorus, a hook and a refrain. A single flower in a bud vase can become a flower bouquet when we give thought to something bigger. “A Single Thought” can change how we write a story and how the outcome of a story can change. Thanks for viewing my work. I just had another thought, Gratitude and Kindness can change a life, maybe even yours.

Memories of seaside holidays (from the archives, painfully aware that this summer I'm most probably skipping the pilgrimage to the sea)...
Here 'golden hour' meets 'blue hour' in the same frame.
Thought I would show a dorsal view of yesterday's nearly two foot long Ring-necked Snake. This species is rear-fanged venomous, but not considered dangerous to Humans. We found this shy species stretched out on mountain road. In Southeast Arizona, they are normally found in riparian areas, or areas where water is present.
