Halnaker tree tunnel, West Sussex
Wellllllllllllll, I really couldn't turn down the chance to photograph the 'normal' view could I? 😉 Again, due to a slight wind I could not focus stack so I picked one of the exposures focused a bit closer to the camera and accepted a slight drop off in sharpness. As I've edited the shot in a slightly 'soft light' manner I thought that was fine.
Just taken delivery of a Canon Pro-300 printer as my first printer so these Halnaker shots are some of those I want to print. I doubt I'll get better autumn colours here but I'd love to get it wearing its winter coat!

I'm going to the coast in the morning, sort of a mini vacation, so I thought I would leave you with something peaceful. I've been wanting to make this trip for some time and now it's finally here. I hope to come back with plenty of seagull, pelican and boat images..;) I won't be gone lone and I may be able to check in while I'm gone. Hopefully, I'll have to much to do..;)

at that moment i was sure. That i belonged in my skin. That my organs were mine and my eyes were mine and my ears, which could only hear the silence of this night and my faint breathing, were mine, and I loved them and what they could do. There was so much water in so many places, rushing everywhere, up and down, the water on top moving so much faster than the water below it. Under the water was sand, then rocks, miles of rocks, then fire.
But i was getting tired. We needed to get out of the water before we mistook it for a bed. I was sure that was how people drowned; not with a fight, not with thrashing but with thoughts of rest.
