A third quick trip to my local Farmoor Reservoir in Oxfordshire. I was hoping to catch up with the Great Northern Diver. It had been seen this day but i couldn't find it.
Another rare'ish bird was the female Greater Scaup Duck that was seen in amongst a huge raft of Tufted Ducks on F1 reservoir.

For all the awkward experiences we had. Today was definitely worth it.
More tomorrow, also comments and stuff will be read and I will do some stream browsing as well. I'm just too tired for now. Goodnight!
Some things deserve a second and third look and especially for a bird that was this cooperative! I might add that he actually gave me about twenty or thirty looks and it was difficult to pick a favorite! This was taken at Bay Area Park on Armand Bayou at a very small pond near the boat dock at the park! Yellow-crowned Night Heron doing a bit of hunting! When he was ready to leave he flew up and landed at the end of the pier about five feet away and walked into some tall grass and disappeared! He had little concern for my presence!

This Blythe doll is Bow Wow Trad. One of the suggestions for today’s theme was something divided into thirds, so baking came to mind. She’s in her Mini Verse Make It Mini kitchen. I purchased this at Target last December, and I recently received a recall notice because it comes with little plastic food parts and resin to use in combining them…the resin is the problem, in that it can cause respiratory and skin irritation. Since this is marketed towards children, I can see that it would be a concern. Anyway, I have no interest in the “making” part of this item, so I will just chuck the resin in the trash. Problem solved.
Getting lucky
Hosting clothing swaps requires coordination and logistics, but the reward is worth it. Besides scoring new-to-me pieces for myself, I love seeing my guests find their own prizes.
I hosted my third clothing swap of the year. Despite prior closet cleanouts, even returning guests had plenty to donate. The swaps always end with delighted guests and lots of leftovers for charity.I’m not wearing anything from a swap, but the sweater, skirt, boots, and belt are all thrifted.

I was stood up by my friend for this moon rising photography shoot but I was still accompanied by a skunk. I think the skunk enjoyed it as much as me!

I had to be in work early today due to the building having it's power shut off, I thought I'd watch the sunrise from rooftop. The power was off inside, but a great show unfolded in the sky. This is 4 shots stitched together to create this panoramic sunrise shot.
Then the third lion lift its head and looking at me as to ask…Okay are you happy now?…
I did not answer him :-((
They a little later they made a unsuccessful attempt to hunt and almost chased a Blue wildebeest strait through my bakkie.
It happened just to fast for me to get the bakkie at the right spot to capture any thing.

This burst of colour is from a little while back. Brilliant sunset, marvelous cloud. I posted a shot featuring the cloud to the left of this about a month ago.

Despite the number on the door, there is no listing for this property other than it is exempt. Bartelme Home and Services is listed as the occupant. The brownstone most likely was built in the late 1890s.
