Not sure exactly what this is - I think it's got something to do with pumping air into the PATH train tunnels.
When Bionic Pete asked if I was interested in seeing his mouldy thing, I was expecting to see some spectacularly disgusting sandwich from the back of the desk drawer, not the dental mold used in the construction of his bionic gnashers.

I've had this since college. A friend found it and kept it in his dorm room. I always admired it, so at the end of the year he gave it to me. I've been hauling it around for well over 20 years now because I think it's cool looking.
It's settled into a more or less permanent role as a surreal garden ornament.
This was my favorite spot in all of Baltimore. Book Thing! Its a non-profit that takes donations of books, sorts them by category, and then allows the public to take whatever they want for free. And they have some great ones too...an awesome classics section, a whole rooms devoted to fiction and history, and tons of great old kids books.
I recommend viewing this LARGE to see why I got this camera and why I'm loving it more with each shutter release. :^)

Useful when taking all those pictures outdoors. My first pair was knitted but now I prefer crochet because it is denser and doesn't get caught on the zippers of my camera bag.

Why are things (it is not even thing) like this so attractive to me? Why do I study it for twenty minutes and take a variety of shots of what ... is not a thing.

Always wanted a subway shot where I didn't look completely suspicious sitting on the ground with a giant camera. It's a good thing Japan is a big fan of photography, I mean I think that cop over there even waved at me.
Signage for a dance event called Swing Night.
Letters were to spell the word NIGHT (but they also spell THING). Lights were added into the holes and it became part of a hanging sign behind the band on the night.
