I tried to identify this gorgeous moth that I spotted in Ames Park the other day, but I couldn't. The closest I got to it was a Leopard moth, which looked about the same with ringed spots, not stripes. It certainly was a magnificent specimen, and I've never seen one like it before.
When I was a teenager, I used to sketch designs of clothing. The moth really would have inspired me to do a cape like this, which would have been glorious, though probably not as lovely as the genuine article. Nature always does it right.
While rifling through page after page of internet photos of moths, it occurred to me just how incredible creation really is. Just in Central Florida alone, there were literally hundreds of different kinds of moths- which really speaks to the REST of the insects, animals, and people on the planet. It's literally mind-boggling!
Secular scientists consider this evolution- something that randomly happened. Looking at the individual parts of nature causes me to view it a different way. There seems to be a logic- an intent- behind all of those interesting creatures. I find it impossible to believe that creation wasn't a planned thing. I can't conceive of there not being a God behind it all.
Unlike many Christians who completely deny any form of evolution process, and cling to the theory that the world is only a few thousand years old, I believe that there is a God- ONE God- and that He is quite involved with and enjoys the process of creation, not just the initial doing of it. Like a painter who adds layer upon layer of paint to achieve a particular outcome, the adaptations we see in nature, to me, reveal a guiding hand, a breath of life that got it all rolling in the first place.
I rather like believing that the same God who took such interest and care to create such a perfect, little creature as this moth, takes an interest in my outcome, as well. I'm in good hands.

Photo Essay on above image from my stove top by way of news from The New York Times re: Italian pasta, boiled then simmered with the crisp bacon that started the production, when I added - > mushrooms, tomatoes, sweet pepper, whiff olive oil, basil,spinach, garlic, sea salt, more butter, half&half, with a touch of cheese on top.

Relates to my conception a few years of noodling around with 'string theories' being organic and nutrition powered. The 'recipe' of which, along with another (iron skillet spaghetti string theory related) photo essay can be found here in its (expanded technical rhetorical informed wild guess working as to the running of the 'gearbox' of the Universe by means of the expansive and digestive power of 'bugs' (being bacteria and, their quarks in repair) as the micro of cellular expansion that is the growth of life, creates the macro the forest and its fires in the macro to fulfill the content of the past, present and future in its entirety soup to nuts forward and reverse engineered;-) 'in reality as well as theory'*, as Dark Matter and Energy are explained on a proverbial platter, by means of a iron skillet of angel hair pasta and home made red sauce as atomic power explored in terms of the 'water math' as a expression of food as the source of the 'power and light' by means of the atomic material and common bonds that connect by means of diet 'body soul as well as the 'brain pans' by mean the cast iron frying pan technology in the context of Dark Matter and Energy as food energy that has to potential power at every level to operate a city the size of Los Angels, and a planet the size of Earth as explained in detail in my photo essay:

Little TYKES / Little TIKES

Hold on a second, Wikipedia, did you say Little TIKES?
I remember that little red and yellow anthropomorphized car, which apparently gets touted as "the best selling car in America". I also remember the "Little TYKES" logo pretty vividly. When I heard there was a change to TYKE, I had to Google it to find it's now called TIKE.
There is an embarrassment of riches with regard to Little TYKES residual. In fact doing a hard search for "Little TYKES" brings up 270,020 matches on Newspapers.com, compared to the 199,844 matches for "Little TIKES"...
In theory, there's actually MORE physical proof that Little TYKES exists than Little TIKES! The quality of the residue is also stellar; instead of one or two mentions per page, you can deduce that "Little TYKES" is being used intentionally, when it shows up 10+ times in the same advert.

The Golden Ratio informs a lot of my art and photographic composition. The Golden Ratio also informs the design of the golden revolver on all the swimsuits and lingerie, as well as the 45surf logo! Not so long ago, I came up with the Golden Ratio Principle which describes why The Golden Ratio is so beautiful.
The Golden Number Ratio Principle: Dr. E’s Golden Ratio Principle: The golden ratio exalts beauty because the number is a characteristic of the mathematically and physically most efficient manners of growth and distribution, on both evolutionary and purely physical levels. The golden ratio ensures that the proportions and structure of that which came before provide the proportions and structure of that which comes after. Robust, ordered growth is naturally associated with health and beauty, and thus we evolved to perceive the golden ratio harmonies as inherently beautiful, as we saw and felt their presence in all vital growth and life—in the salient features and proportions of humans and nature alike, from the distribution of our facial features and bones to the arrangements of petals, leaves, and sunflowers seeds. As ratios between Fibonacci Numbers offer the closest whole-number approximations to the golden ratio, and as seeds, cells, leaves, bones, and other physical entities appear in whole numbers, the Fibonacci Numbers oft appear in nature’s elements as “growth’s numbers.” From the dawn of time, humanity sought to salute their gods in art and temples exalting the same proportion by which all their vital sustenance and they themselves had been created—the golden ratio.
