El Cavern Club, que abrió sus puertas el 16 de enero de 1957 es un club de rock and roll ubicado en el número 10 de Mathew Street, de Liverpool, Inglaterra, donde Brian Epstein conoció a The Beatles el 9 de noviembre de 1961.

The Cavern Club is a nightclub in Mathew Street, Liverpool, England. Opened on Wednesday 16 January 1957, the club was originally a jazz club changing to rock and roll when the music gripped the city. Liverpool was the centre of a musical renaissance in the 1960s based on rock and roll with The Cavern centre of the movement. This renaissance spread to art and design.
The Beatles, central to the musical renaissance, played in the club nearly 300 times in their early years. The Cavern was similar inside to Le Caveau de la Huchette jazz club in Paris on which the club was based with both clubs in basements with tunnels and thick brick arches.Although extensively rebuilt, however with similar arches and tunnels, The Cavern is still open today and the centre of a mini cultural quarter of the city. The Cavern Club is the centre of the Liverpool Mathew Street Music Festival, an annual music festival in Liverpool on the city centre's streets and waterfront.

Ferryland (about an hour south of St. John's) is the location of the Colony of Avalon, established by George Calvert, Lord Baltimore, in 1621. The site is being explored by archaeologists who have found over a million artifacts to date, including gold rings, Portuguese ceramics and many other fascinating items. Guided tours are available from the interpretation centre.

El río Mersey es un corto río costero de la vertiente del mar de Irlanda del Reino Unido que transcurre por el noroeste de Inglaterra y tiene una longitud total de 113 km. El nombre procede de la palabra anglosajona Mǽres-ēa que significa «río de la Frontera», ya que durante siglos formó la frontera entre los condados de Lancashire y Cheshire y es probable que también lo hubiera sido entre los reinos anglosajones de Mercia y Northumbria.
El Mersey se forma en Stockport por la confluencia de tres pequeños ríos: el Etherow (30 km), el Goyt y el río Tame (40 km), en especial el Tame y el Goyt. Después pasa cerca de Didsbury, Stretford, Urmston, Flixton e Irlam, donde el río se integra en el canal navegable de Mánchester, que hasta ese momento es la canalización del río Irwell. Echo Arena Liverpool es el anfiteatro del ACC Liverpool situado en la ciudad de Liverpool, fue inaugurado el 25 de enero de 2008.
El edificio ACC Liverpool completo, fue diseñado por Wilkinson Eyre y Buro Happold, consta de dos elementos principales a ambos lados de una entrada central: un escenario y un centro de convenciones. El arena tiene 7.513 puestos permanentes alrederdor de tres lados de la pista central, adecuado para acontecimientos deportivos. La capacidad de total para conciertos es de 10.600 incluido el piso. El centro de convenciones tiene una sala multiuso de 3.725 metros cuadrados en la planta baja, un auditorio con una capacidad de 1.350 y más salas en los pisos superiores. Puede ser utilizada la sala de exposiciones en conjunto con el arena, dando un espacio total de más de 7.000 metros cuadrados de exposición.
