In June (2011) I found my photograph of the Dublin Convention Centre being used on www.northstarhotel.ie without my permission. Numerous emails, letters and phone calls from me to NSH went ignored from then until the below.
December 2nd - Final letter was sent threatening legal action if invoice for use of my photograph was not paid.
December 6th - Photo has been removed, still no contact from North Star Hotel.
December 16th - Still ZERO contact from anyone at North Star Hotel.

The Address hotel in downtown Dubai overlooking the cultural Souk Al-Bahar and the world largest shopping mall, Mall of Dubai. I was standing beneath Burj Khalifa facing the lake and the pictured view as Fadhel Shaker was singing in front of a crowd in close proximity. There was a cool breeze and my wife kept asking me to go back to our hotel, for she was tiered from shopping all day. (18 Feb 2011 - 10:47 PM)

One of Dubai's luxry hotels. Of course, my room was just below the upper viewing deck. I know, you believe me. haha
I took this photograph in the after noon of February the 18th 2011, while I was vacationing with my wife in Dubai. I stayed at the Ramada Downtown hotel, a stone through from Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Bahar Souk.
"Not only is Burj Khalifa the world’s tallest building, it has also broken two other impressive records: tallest structure, previously held by the KVLY-TV mast in Blanchard, North Dakota, and tallest free-standing structure, previously held by Toronto’s CN Tower. The Chicago-based Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has established 3 criteria to determine what makes a tall building tall. Burj Khalifa wins by far in all three categories."

Set on the 30-acre Burj Khalifa Lake, the fountain shoots water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres), equivalent to that of a 50-storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It has been designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.
The Dubai Fountain performs daily, with the performance repertoire including Sama Dubai; Baba Yetu, an award-winning song in Swahili; the Arab world’s top-selling dance number Shik Shak Shok; and the signature piece of world-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Con te partiro (Time to Say Goodbye).
Over 6,600 WET Superlights – the most advanced incandescent large fountain lights available today – and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 abstract attractions. The beam of light shining upward from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away, and will be visible from space making it the brightest spot in the Middle East, and quite possibly in the entire world.
