Some friends asked me how to texturize an image. I use a process that in a simplified way is explained here:

Of course is possible to improve the sensations with other steps in the process.
on my walk home the sleet turned to snow. our first real winter weather. i found this message painted on the sidewalk and drew a heart around it. indeed, everything will be okay.
- shot in skurugata nature reserve, småland, sweden ( near eksjö )
- this is a dry canyon in the middle of forest, it's 800 m long and up to 35 m high
- to both sides there are steep faces
- Canon G 16, focal length 28mm ( ff equiv. ), f 3.5
I imported this pic to my iPad using the camera connection kit and edited it use several mobile apps and a wonderful free texture from Eddi van W.

Texture from a wall on Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine Florida. This wall has been standing here since 1695 after a 23 year construction to upgrade the original wooden fort which was built in 1565. I love how rich the history is there, even though some of it is pretty brutal.

I keep falling in love with my test shots :) I'm SO excited to get back to editing what are now old photos, from the spring/summer before my crazy wedding season took over!!! Holy COW, so many photos!!
