This is the plant I took from my mother's house when we put it up for sale after she died. It's in my sewing room now, and it always blooms in November and again in March, near her birthday.

What is more entertaining? Watching a TV or watching a Window. If we could able to stare through the window all day, we may able to know the pure purpose of the existence of life; the desires of life. Why watch a TV when you have a Window?

last week i was stuck in an old habit; a situation i've seen again and again. but then i found a fresh view and with it came freedom. it seems there are endless ways to see the world. and for that, i'm deeply grateful.
Sharpless 1 (LBN 1093/4) is a faint reflection nebula and HII region ionized by the bright star pi Sco (HIP 78265, vdB 99) approximately 650 light-years away in Scorpius. This object along with Sh2-7 is collectively known as Siv 10 (a very-wide-field survey of HII regions) and is part of the Astronomy League’s Bright Nebulae Program.
Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
240 minutes total exposure – 4 hours
Imaged May 11th and 18th, 2015 at the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
