A lil bit sad turkish reality. Turkish woman dont like to go walking with children. And unfortunately in some districts there is no place for that at all. Thats why its such a common view in Istanbul - children sitting in widows looking at the streets. Like in prison. This girl is sitting in wet pants. So where is mother?..
A holiday memory from Gran Canaria. The spring had definately arrived there and everything was blooming. Not the prettiest image, but I loved how there was all sorts of things growing in one place :)

Both my parents work with education, my mother is a teacher and my father is a professor at the university, so even though I didn't choose their profession, I've inherited their curiosity about new things.
Didn't know how to make an image about learning, so this pen (and the decoration, which is on the other end of the pen) gets to represent learning. I think making notes or writing essays is part of studying.
Happy MM!
Today's image was taken in the Allesley Village area of Coventry. The view is of the Grade II* listed Stone House. This building is one of the oldest houses in the village and dates back to the 16th century.
The photo was taken using the app VividHDR on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Handy Photo to edit the picture. I deleted the TV aerial from the roof and a couple of modern alarm boxed from the front walls. Next I used Snapseed to edit the photo. I straightened the image and applied the Tonal Contrast filter. I also decreased the Highlights and boosted the Vibrance, Contrast and Saturation. Next I used DistressedFX to add the Stirred overlay and the Lade texture, I flattened the image then I applied the Stirred overlay again, along with the Vanilla texture. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to add the Contrast preset, the Stark FX, a medium dark Vignette. I then added the Slate texture and the Leather frame.
Feel free to use on your creations, just don't claim as your own or resell it. I hope everyone had a great Easter.
How to save this texture... Go to the top click on "All sizes" once your at the larger image click on the tab that says "original" then right click on it and save it to your computer.
Very basic tip on using-
Open the texture, open your image.
If your using Photoshop, go to your "layers palette" have your texture as the top layer then play with the layer settings, try these (make sure your on your texture, not your photo): Overlay, Soft Light, Hard Light (more dramatic) and Multiply.. keep in mind you can always use a light opacity eraser and erase bits of the texture away from your image.
Have fun...
This is my first textured composition without a texture generator. Thank you Skyshaper for showing me the way without having to jeopardize my son's college fund.... You've been a great friend and I appreciate your helping me... Yes, you can teach and The Iceman Cometh.... ;-)
