Bhutanese textiles are just awesome.

Idle is a good description for this old central Massachusetts textile mill. Work shut down here in the early 1970s and the building has been quiet since.

 

All shots in this series were taken in natural ambient light with longer exposures necessary in the darker areas.

This was taken around 1976 when I was at college, FP4 film.

I was taking photos at the factory my dad worked in and i was allowed on the shop floor availble light

hand knitting with lace, paper, felt trapped in vanishing muslin.

the place should be a museum.
