Fact: Chances that an employed American works in the service industry: 6 in 7 (Harper's Index, Harper's Magazine Vol 324 Issue 1942 (2012) p11)
Rationale: This is my final submission. After some discussion with my tutor (Scott), I decided to re-word my fact to place emphasis on the single 'primary industry' worker who is depicted to be carrying the weight of the other 'service' workers. The 'primary industry' worker using the forklift was created using various shapes and transformed into a 'working figure' using the pathfinder tool. I created the USA themed shirt using a custom swatch consisting of red and white rectangle shapes. The hardhat is a third-party icon . The colour scheme reflects the USA national flag colours. I used non-system typefaces and ‘male/female workers’ icons to create gender diversity and used USA colours to further convey that the fact is about American workers.

When open, trucks must stop and be weighed, and if deemed necessary, in some states the length of the tractor and trailer are also measured.
A truck and trailer are limited to 80,000 TGW [Total Gross Weight], or about 40-44,000 in load.
Please don't crowd a truck when you travel the highway! These big boys need ALOT of room to get stopped!
since we have this thingy at school for Princess Diana, i took time to take pictures of Princess Diana at our house from a book given to me by my aunt when i was a kid. the books that i have now are from the states. it was bought by my aunt there. soo yeah. we don't have a scanner at home that is why i just took pictures of the book. and i used 2 white lamps for the effect. :D

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics formally dedicated the Golf Course on May 15, 1959.
The Golf Course underwent extensive renovation to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2008 and reopened to the public in July 2009.
Built between 1420 and 1480 the imposing beauty of St Mary's Church Thirsk has led to it being referred to as the Cathedral of the North Yorkshire. Throughout the day the light alters the tone and textures of the building and the shadows shape the structure into several forms sculpted by the light. The church has strong link to Alf Wight who wrote under the name of James Herriot as this is where he was married and the real wedding ceremony is fictionalised in, “Let sleeping Vets Lie.” The church is open during the day and the architecture and furnishings inside are as impressive as the exterior.

This is the location of the ancient Jewish cemetery of York. Some of the remains were re-interred 8th July 1984 8th Tammuz 5744 in the presence of the Chief Rabbi Sir Immanuel Jakobovits and representatives of the Jewish community. The re-interment site was kindly provided by J Sainsbury plc to whom the Jewish community is most grateful.
