I've heard about Bodie for years but never visited it until September 2016 on the way to Yosemite - I'm so glad I did! What a cool place. I arrived shortly before the gates opened and had the place to myself before hordes of people arrived. It was a very cold, very windy morning which added to the deserted mood of the town. I'll definitely return here in the future!

A lot of these photos are in HDR since I think that added to charm of Bodie.
