I find this so lyrical... A message from the heart left somewhere where perhaps the person might stumble upon it, might even think of the person who sprayed it there. Or triggers in you a thought of someone special, perhaps.

World's Best-Design Newspaper' in 2012 and 2013 Politiken employes Gerard Unger's Capitolium2 as a fundamental piece in its design.
In December 2011, Art Director Søren Nyeland launched a redesign of Politiken, Denmark’s second-largest morning newspaper —as well as the international version, Politiken Weekly. In the new design Unger's font is used widespread in the newspaper, both for display as for text size.
According to the website Smashing Magazine, the "sharpness of typography is breathtaking".

I'm not really sure why I did bacon. To be honest, I really really REALLY dislike handling raw or cold meat of any kind. I'm not a vegetarian, it just squicks me out.
This bacon is actually turkey bacon, and was raw when the images were taken. Turkey bacon actually is very grey when it's raw, so there was a lot of color editing. All forms were taken on a white background, and all photos were eventually cropped to achieve smooth, consistent edges.
I kept the dark shadows in because I thought it gave the bacon more...body? I liked how they looked because it provided some variety that was also consistent.

The stray lines are from how I originally drew the text: By hand, in my own handwriting. Since then, I've bought a Fiskars Ultra ShapeXpress shape-cutter, printed out the word “NOTES” in Helvetica Condensed at the right size, cut it out, and filled it with my ink pen (Uni-Ball Deluxe). As you can see, I successfully covered most of the handwriting. ☺
Future notebooks will, of course, use the templated text alone.
