"A Lens Collector's Vade Mecum".

3 volume Draft Edition

No.10 of 50.

As far as I am aware this is the only edition to appear in book form.

Hardbound

Size (approx): 30.5 x 21.5cm

Weight: 2425g

Publisher: Self Published

Language English

Date: 1997

Number of Pages: 294 (single sided)

Edition: First/ Draft Edition

Extra info: It is described as "Draft Edition February 1997 limited to 50 numbered copies of which this is number 10"

I am guessing this was privately distributed to family and friends Of Matthew Wilkinson

The draft edition is fairly basic and has many mistakes which were corrected in later editions. It has no photographs only some very very simple lens diagrams.

With its typescript pages it bears many similarities in quality to a well bound student thesis.

The full text of two editions of this book may be (legally) downloaded from antiquecameras.net/lensvademecum.html for less than 10.00 GBP!

Part of the Charles Kuralt Trail. Pocosin Lakes NWR is one of 11 national wildlife refuges and a national fish hatchery (Edenton, NC) that are working to conserve fish, wildlife, plants along with their native habitats. The Charles Kuralt Trail has been established to help people enjoy all these wonders and to recognize the broadcast journalist who shared these delightful out-of-the-way places.

So what if I'm a connoisseur of fine islands. This isn't really a secret.

Fifth Station—Jesus Is Judged by Pilate

Mark 15:1b-15

After tying Jesus securely, they took him out and presented him to Pilate. Pilate asked him,

"Are you the 'King of the Jews'?" The high priests let loose a barrage of accusations. Pilate asked again, "Aren't you going to answer anything? That's quite a list of accusations."

Still, he said nothing. Pilate was impressed, really impressed. It was a custom at the Feast to release a prisoner, anyone the people asked for. There was one prisoner called Barabbas, locked up with the insurrectionists who had committed murder during the uprising against Rome.

As the crowd came up and began to present its petition for him to release a prisoner, Pilate anticipated them: "Do you want me to release the King of the Jews to you?"

Pilate knew by this time that it was through sheer spite that the high priests had turned Jesus over to him. But the high priests by then had worked up the crowd to ask for the release of Barabbas. Pilate came back, "So what do I do with this man you call King of the Jews?"

They yelled, "Nail him to a cross!"

Pilate objected, "But for what crime?"

But they yelled all the louder, "Nail him to a cross!"

Pilate gave the crowd what it wanted, set Barabbas free and turned Jesus over for whipping and crucifixion.

Benched in Southern California

This topic works just like conservation of regular momentum, but looks very different. I have a question about conservation of regular momentum on the left side. The right side refers to me spinning in a deskchair holding barbells. Instead of mass increasing like it does in the question on the right, rotational inertia increases because I push the barbells out, making them farther from the axis of rotation. Thus no collision is necessary to change an objects mass. That said, momentum is conserved in both situations. The result is that I go faster with barbells tucked in, and slower with them out, something that figure skaters, gymnasts, and divers take advantage of to vary their spin speeds.

This heavy 97" X 67" canvas tarp was used to secure equipment and supplies to the Overland Transport truck while taking the 16 Survivor contestants to the game's starting point. The tarp is signed by each of the 16 Survivors. The tarp has two leather-bound poles that held the tarp to the truck for the 7 hour trip across the African terrain. This is a very impressive Survivor prop.
